STACK-A-SHAFT™ STAIR SYSTEM
All material is steel purchased in raw stock sizes.

Stackable Stair Units
Stack-A-Shaft is an innovative stacking stair system that includes pre-assembled stairs and a mid-level landing set as one unit. A Stack-A-Shaft stair tower provides immediate access to the next floor before it is poured, which improves productivity and safety.
4Each unit is set before the forms for the next floor are flown in. 4The edge form for the floor opening is part of the unit, saving time and money. There are no additional forms to construct or strip, no shaft location problems, and no floor-to-floor height problems. 4With the Stack-A-Shaft in place, there’s no open shaft to cover or barricade, which eliminates another safety concern.
Four Stack-A-Shaft Configurations SAS-LG Light Gauge Steel Structures Designed to connect directly to light gauge members which are self supporting, no need for additional steel for stair openings or support. SAS-WF Wood Framed Structures SAS™ comes with connections for wood joists or beams. SAS-PT Concrete Post Tension Slab Structures Installed BEFORE slab is poured, helps to confirm elevations. SAS-HS Heavy Structural Steel Structures Multiple attachments available, bolting or welding as required. Ability to set stairs without the need to have all decking in place.
Installation is as fast as the tower crane can lift and set it in place (approximately 15 minutes).
Once installed, the Stack-A-Shaft provides easy and immediate access between floors — no need for temporary stairs or ladders. Workers move quickly between floors with their tools and materials without waiting for man-lifts.

Meeting the demands of all building codes
Our logistics personnel configure loads to best fit our customers’ needs. Pacific Stair is able to bundle stairs, landings and rails in a single package for direct-to-floor off loading. This process saves ironworkers time sorting product for location and quantity, and limits the time necessary to “shake out” product to the individual floors. Pacific Stair maintains long-term relationships with our out-bound freighters. Many of the services we routinely provide are not common in OTR transport, such as exacttime crane deliveries, multiple drops and difficult offloads. Customers know when they specify Pacific Stair Corporation, we will meet or exceed the project requirements and construction schedules with a code-conforming product that arrives on-site when needed.

Our preengineered steel stair system meets the demands of all building codes. Calculations and drawings are stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the state in which the project is located, and are included in the total project cost.
4Pacific Stair Corporation is a member of ICBO (#1005381) and the American Welding Society (#118906). We are an Approved Fabricator in both Clark County (# 505) and Los Angeles City (#1764) and a recognized fabricator in the City of San Francisco. Los Angeles City approval means Pacific Stair has met stringent requirements for quality control, material and labor tracking.

We keep it simple. Projects constructed in concrete, steel or wood all benefit by using Pacific Stair Corporation products. 4Pacific Stair’s design-build stair systems install quickly, easily and correctly.
4Our stairs have erection holes and torque control bolts to make the installation process simple and efficient.
4Pre-assembled landings minimize field installation time. We do not ship a pallet of loose iron shapes to be field-cut to fit. Our landings come in one piece, and they fit the designed opening.
