Camera Care- Cannon Rebel XTI Protect the Camera from l  Physical Shock l  Water & Excessive Heat l  Strong Magnetic Fields l  Condensation l  Chemicals The instruction manual details the Safety Warnings (pages 10,11) and the Handling Precautions (pages 12,13). Please read them carefully.

Cannon Rebel XTI Physical Shock l  The camera is a precision instrument and it should not be subjected to physical shock or rough handling. Take care by using the strap and following safe handling methods to prevent accidental dropping of the camera !

Cannon Rebel XTI Excessive heat (inside a car under direct sunlight etc.) can cause the camera to malfunction.

Heat & Water The camera is not waterproof and should be protected from rain, snow or other natural elements.

Do not leave the camera or the memory card in areas with a strong magnetic field or a source emitting radio waves.

Magnetic Fields Such areas to be avoided include areas close to a magnet, electric motor and antennas.

Condensation may form in the camera if it is brought suddenly from the cold into a warm room.

Condensation l 

In such situations, first put the camera into a sealed bag and let it slowly adjust to the warmer temperatures before taking it out.

Do not store the camera in areas where there are corrosive chemicals such as in a lab or near cleaning supplies.
