Neurotech Recovery - Back’s unique, two-garment system delivers TENS and NMES modalities to the lumbar and abdominal areas to provide pain management and muscle rehabilitation as required. The garment configuration ensures consistent delivery of stimulation over time. Ease of donning and doffing the garment, along with more comfortable delivery of stimulation, helps to increase patient compliance with any home-use program that you prescribe.

Other Suggested Exercise Programs for Low Back Pain Patients Exercise should be considered as part of a broader program to comfortably return to normal home, work and social activities. The positive benefits of exercise may not only improve the patient’s strength and flexibility but might also positively impact their outlook with respect to their back pain. LOW BACK STRENGTH – strengthening exercises help restore function and should be considered for a home-therapy program concurrent with supervised physical therapy sessions Exercise

Bridging

+ Lie on your back with arms resting by their side and knees bent as shown + Slowly raise your bottom off the floor assuming the bridge position as shown + Hold for 10 seconds + Return to starting position and relax for 5 seconds + Repeat as suggested

Planks

+ Assume the plank position with your weight supported on your toes, elbows and forearms as shown + Keeping your back straight, tighten your abdominal muscles and hold this position for 10-15 seconds + Relax for 15 seconds. Repeat as suggested + Repeat this exercise in side lying position as shown in second image. Complete exercise on right and left sides

Knee Rolls

+ Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor + Roll knees to one side while keeping shoulders flat on the floor + Hold the position for 5 – 10 seconds + Return knees to center position + Repeat on other side

Glute Stretch + Sit on the floor with the legs straight out in front of you + Bend the right knee and bring it across the left leg looking over the right shoulder as you do so + Use the left elbow to push the right across if needed + Hold stretch for 15 - 20 seconds before changing to opposite side + Repeat as suggested
