Impacting Our Community — One Gift at a Time

2008 Camden County Public Employees Charitable Campaign

Building a Stronger, Healthier Community The Camden County Public Employees Charitable Campaign Each year, public employees from Camden County join together to help improve lives. Thousands of school teachers and administrators, public officials, employees from county agencies and municipalities throughout our community make a difference with their gifts to the Public Employees Charitable Campaign.

The Difference You Make By giving to this campaign, you help countless people whose cries for help may otherwise go unanswered. Your support will change the lives of others in our community and around the world. Together, we can make a difference! Thank you for your generosity and support of the Camden County Public Employees Charitable Campaign. No act of kindness, no matter how small, goes unnoticed.

A Win-Win Situation

When you support this campaign, you become part of a much larger group of caring people whose gifts, when added together, have the ability to make a tremendous difference in the lives of people in need. When we help others, we ultimately help ourselves.

The Power of Choice Like you, we recognize that people are unique. What appeals to one person may not necessarily appeal to another. This campaign offers more than 500 agencies that perform a wide variety of services from health care to animal welfare and protecting our environment. Take a moment to look at the list and you will likely find one or more causes you would like to support. Please remember to include each agency’s code on your form. In accordance with state regulations, no write-ins are permitted. Only agencies included in this booklet can receive designations through this campaign.

Giving Made Easy Payroll Deduction - We’d all like to do as much as we can to make a difference. Giving through payroll deduction allows donors to make a larger impact, one paycheck at a time. Pledge forms must be completed and signed in order to activate payroll deduction. The minimum gift to designate per agency is $52. Cash or check - Please make all checks payable to: Camden County Public Employees Charitable Campaign (CCPECC). The minimum gift to designate per agency is $52.

Low Overhead Costs This campaign is effective and efficient - 90% of every dollar received goes directly to support non-profit programs and services. The remaining 10% covers administrative expenses. Compared to the maximum 35% set by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance, this campaign’s overhead costs are extremely low, allowing more of your gift to benefit those in need.

Accountability The agencies in this campaign help people throughout our community, country, and the world. Each agency must meet strict state and local guidelines. For more information about an agency, please call its federation at the number provided.

Thank you! Your gift is an investment in the future of our community. The Camden County Public Employees Charitable Campaign touches thousands of lives, providing hope, health and resources. We thank you for your generous support. The campaign manager will not release your name and address to the agencies you’ve chosen unless you’ve indicated your wish to be acknowledged by checking off the appropriate box on the pledge form and providing your full name and home address. For more information, please call (856) 963-2720.
