Dr. Ché & Sue Ahn A Movement Birthed It was December of 1995, and Harvest Rock Church was thriving. We were in the midst of revival after 18 months of nightly protracted meetings. While we were no longer part of the Vineyard movement, we still believed in accountability and spiritual covering. Cindy Jacobs had heard that we were no longer in the Vineyard, and once again she delivered a clear prophetic directive that would change the destiny of our ministry. “Ché, you are not to join another movement,” she declared. “The Lord has called you to be a father of your own movement. He has called you to be an Abraham, and out of your loins, you will be a father to many.” Her words exploded in my heart because years earlier she had given me the same word when she came to speak at Abundant Life Church, where I was a pastor at the time. Now I was hearing the same message again. I shared the word with my wife and with the pastoral staff, and they all bore witness to its accuracy. Now we needed a name for our movement. What came loud and clear to me was “Harvest International Ministry.” It seemed to be a perfect name since we were believing God for a great harvest and the first letters of each word spell out “H-I-M.” The ministry was to be all about Him—Jesus! We did a legal name search, and to my surprise, the name was available. HIM was then birthed in 1996! Who We Are HIM is an apostolic network of churches, ministries, missions organizations, church networks and marketplace ministers committed to loving and helping each other fulfill the Great Commission. Currently, HIM has extended into more than 60 nations with upwards of 25,000 churches and ministries as we continue to change lives, transform cities and disciple nations. God has done truly amazing things, and we have come a long way. In all of this, we give God the glory, honor and praise! If you are not currently a member of HIM, please pray about joining us and becoming an active member. In His love, Ché and Sue Ahn

The Apostolic Movement What is an apostolic center? Harvest International Ministry (HIM), HRock Church (HRC) and Wagner Leadership Institute (WLI) form the pillars under the umbrella of Harvest Apostolic Center (HAC). An apostolic center equips and launches people into ministry and functions as a home base for itinerant ministers. Its leadership follows the pattern found in Ephesians 4:11, with apostles and prophets being the foundation and Christ being the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). Moving as an apostolic network and why it’s needed The Bible teaches us that two are better than one. We recognize that God is pouring out His Spirit all over the earth and that a massive harvest is ready for reaping. Individually, churches are limited in their ability to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 29:19). However, with the synergy created by the cooperation of multiple like-minded churches, we can advance God's Kingdom in a much greater way! The Bible states that one will chase 1,000 and that two will chase 10,000. As we unite, we have enormous potential to build and advance His Kingdom. At HIM, we recognize and value local churches, but we believe that church networks have even greater harvest potential as we combine our unique strengths. Furthermore, we know that pastors are looking for meaningful relationships and accountability, as well as advice in church growth, church planting, missions and marketplace ministry. We aim to provide this through networking, apostolic care, training and ministry resources. One of the values we hold at HIM is to build the Kingdom through relationships, not through structure (Ephesians 4:16). We attempt to recognize God-given relationships, not organize them, and then build the Kingdom through them.

Harvest International Ministry Mission Statement Changing Lives, Transforming Cities and Discipling Nations Vision Statement HIM is an apostolic network committed to fulfill the Great Commission through church planting, equipping and strengthening leaders and advancing the justice mandate. Covenant Commitment HIM requires three main commitments from every member: 1. For each member to be apostolically aligned with the Apostle of HIM and the presiding Apostolic Team. 2. For each member to make it a priority to attend our annual LeaderSHIFT Conference in Pasadena, Calif. 3. For each member to support HIM financially, being led by the Spirit and by grace. Strategy 1. Missions: reaching the world, at home and abroad, through church planting. 2. Mercy Ministries: extending the love of Jesus to the poor, especially children at risk. 3. Ministers Training: equipping Ephesians 4:11 ministries through conferences, seminars, WLI courses and retreats. 4. Miracle Services and Crusades: preaching the gospel with signs and wonders following and conducting healing services around the world. 5. Massive Prayer: mobilizing believers to seek God through prayer and fasting, raising up houses of prayer (e.g. The Cause, TheCall International). 6. Marketplace Ministries: recognizing and supporting marketplace ministers. 7. Media: preaching the gospel, using many forms of media, including TV, radio, the Internet and the arts. Ministry Assumptions 1. HIM is not a denomination but rather an association or network birthed within the context of Spirit-born relationships. 2. HIM will not own or be involved in the church property of its associated local churches. 3. HIM will remain completely and legally separate and recognize the autonomy and government of each local church. 4. HIM will not violate the autonomy of each local congregation and will abide by the constitution and bylaws of each local church. 5. Discipline of ministry or workplace leaders will be handled on a local level unless the church's bylaws or the invitation of the local church dictates otherwise. 6. Membership is voluntary, and withdrawal of membership can be made at any time. 7. HIM is submitted spiritually to the HIM International Apostles and to the Apostolic Council. 8. Finances of HIM are based on the HIM budget and governed by the Apostolic Council. 9. All future missions candidates will be screened through local churches and must meet the qualifications of HIM’s missions policy. 10. An approved membership application form, references and HIM church sponsorship are required for membership, with a probationary period of one year after joining. 11. Membership of pastors and churches is also based on a financial commitment by the local church, with a monthly donation as the Holy Spirit leads. 12. The HIM International Apostles consist of those who are overseeing a number of churches, as well as those who have an Ephesians 4:11 extra-local ministry of Prophet and Evangelist.

HIM Policies and Procedures Financial Involvement HIM counts on every member to support HIM financially and spiritually through prayer. As you decide how much to give, HIM again urges you to seek the counsel of our Lord and to be led by the Holy Spirit. We have much to do as we bless what we see God doing. Sowing into HIM in a tangible way not only supports numerous missionaries and humanitarian projects around the world, but it also shows one's covenant to the vision and purpose of HIM and how God has called us together to fulfill the Great Commission. HIM Church Planters Someone interested in planting an HIM church must demonstrate a proven calling and an ability to share the gospel in field ministry. References and training are required. Candidates must have proof of being trained in WLI (or an equivalent organization) for this desired objective. We look at three areas of a person's life to assess the suitability for becoming an HIM church planter: character, calling and capability. HIM Missionaries HIM Missionaries must meet the requirements for HIM church planters in addition to having crosscultural training and experience. To be financially supported by HIM, church planters and missionaries must adhere to the HIM Financial Accountability Policy. They must have a home church or non-profit organization that will receive the support from HIM. Financial support must not exceed 33 percent of the church planter’s or missionary’s financial needs. Membership in HIM does not guarantee financial support. HIM Finances HIM is committed to the highest level of financial integrity. Our commitment to our supporters is to maintain a culture of excellence, trustworthiness and accountability. The financial activities of HIM are legally subject to the oversight of the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California Office of the Attorney General. Each year a financial audit is conducted by a firm of Independent Certified Public Accountants to ensure that our financial statements are presented in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and so that our financial stewardship of HIM brings honor to God.

GREETINGS FROM THE HARVEST FIELD! One of my greatest privileges is to witness the hand of God in many places around the world. The Body of Christ is so glorious and powerful. I love being connected to others in the Body. To this end, Harvest International Ministry has been an incredible blessing for me. My wife, Ann, and I served in a traditional denomination for more than 10 years. Then in 1995, the Holy Spirit came in the Renewal and took our church and us in a whole new direction.

Dr. Mark & Ann Tubbs

The Spirit then led us to East Africa, where the Lord blessed us by giving us the leadership of a burgeoning network of 200 churches. In fact, after joining HIM, the network has grown to more than 900 churches in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda). This is the nature of HIM, which is a network of networks. We needed support and direction, and HIM provided this for us. HIM is a network of like-minded people who come together for a common purpose—to spread the love of Jesus and equip the saints. As you consider joining HIM, know that everything we do is based on relationships and partnership. Under the leadership of Apostle Ché Ahn, we are released into our apostolic anointing. This captures the truth of Ephesians 4:11, which shows that the fivefold ministries equip and prepare the saints to fulfill our callings and destiny. Since we first visited HRock Church in 1997 and later became involved in HIM, we have experienced the power of this network. We sincerely believe that our relationship with HIM has increased our ministry around the world. In 2006, I became the Executive Director of HIM, and more recently, Missions Apostle. In this role, I function as an apostolic leader by ministering to our churches, partners and friends. As a former senior pastor and the head of a large church network, I know the struggles that local churches face. It would be a great privilege to be a part of your journey and to connect you with other leaders in your region and around the world who can partner with you. Regarding ministry to you, HIM has many gifted leaders who can pray with you and encourage you, especially at our annual conferences, which are packed with the Spirit’s power and full of impartation. Regarding ministry to others, our HIM members’ financial and ministerial support enables us to reach some of the poorest nations on earth through mercy ministries and evangelism. One of my greatest passions is to take people to the nations. I have discovered that the greatest spiritual training ground is undeveloped nations where the Spirit is releasing signs and wonders on a regular basis. I have taken many missions teams to other nations, and I will continue to organize these vital trips. You and your ministry team members can join us and be a part of the HIM ministry worldwide. I can also provide contacts and suggestions for any trips you would like to organize yourself. With Blessings,

Dr. Mark Tubbs
