Hotel Lighting Scenario 2
INTRODUCTION This script can be used to control a master lighting contact with the Auxiliary output of a VT8300 series Room Controller. The built-in logic of the BO8 Auxiliary Heat output was designed for reheat applications. It includes a 10 seconds delay between the Effective occupancy change and the output action. Using the Lua4Gamma script will remove this delay and make lighting applications possible. Compared to Lua4RC_002_HotelLighting.lua, this script works with the local occupancy set at the the hotel desk (see the sequence of operation section below)

Hotel Desk sets the Room Controller to Occupancy Command: Local Occupancy then Room Controller switches to Effective Occupancy: Stand-by mode In Effective Occupancy: Stand-by mode If the door opens then The lights turns on If the PIR motion sensor detects motion then the Room Controller switches to Effective Occupancy: Occupied mode. If there is no motion detected after a period of time specified in the Unoccupied time field then the controller switches to Effective Occupancy: Unoccupied mode. In Effective Occupancy: Occupied mode The lights are kept on as long as the PIR motion sensor detects motion. They will turn off only if there is no motion detected for a period of time specified in AV26 If the door is opened and closed and no motion is detected then the Room Controller switches back to Effective Occupancy: Stand-by mode In Effective Occupancy: Unoccupied mode The lights are turned on as soon as the door opens. The Room Controller switches to Effective Occupancy: Stand-by mode as soon as the door closes. Hotel Desk sets the Room Controller to Occupancy Command: Unoccupied then (the room is visited by the cleaning staff) The lights are turned on as soon as the door opens (the door is left opened for cleaning) As soon as the door is closed again the lights turn off
