eCon 3000 Family
The eCon 3000 Ethernet Switch The Fast Ehernet Switches of the product family HARTING eCon 3000 are suitable for industrial applications and support Ethernet (10 Mbit/s) and Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s). The product family enables the connection of up to 10 network devices (according to type) over shielded Twisted Pair cables and fibre-optic cables (Multi- and Singlemode). The eCon 3000 Ethernet Switch product family, with its integrated LEDs on each port, supports fast and easy network diagnosis. The eCon Ethernet Switch operates as an Unmanged Switch in Store and Forward Switching Mode and supports Autocrossing, Auto-negotiation and Auto-polarity.

The configurable Media converter The Fast Ethernet Media converter eCon3011 is suitable for industrial applications and support both Ethernet (10 Mbit/s) and Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s). The Media converter enables the conversion from Shielded Twisted Pair cables to fibre-optic cables (glass). The eCon 3011 Media converter is configurable via Dip Switch and offers a variety of control functions. In the switch mode, the eCon 3011 Media converter operates as an unmanaged Ethernet Switch with Store and Forward Switching Mode which supports asynchronous data communication, Auto-crossing and Auto-negotiation. In the converter mode the eCon 3011 Media converter works with a data rate of 100 Mbit/s (Full duplex) with a very low latency . In this mode the Media converter is able to handle 9 kByte Jumbo Frames. Additional the eCon 3011 Media converter disposes of a Link monitoring (LFP) and can be used as PoE Power Source Equipment. In this way terminated end devices can be supplied with data and power via the Twisted Pair cable.
