One Call Now offers a free mobile application for Android. It is simple and easy-to-use. You can send voice, text, or email messages from anywhere at any time. This guide will walk you through downloading and using your application. For more information on any feature, visit our Help & Support Center at help.onecallnow.com.

The One Call Now Droid App is the perfect way to send messages to your Group from your Android device. The app allows you to send voice, text-to-speech, SMS text or email messages; manage your Roster; add members to Subgroups; and see detailed reports of each message. The functionality of the app depends on the Service Plan you have. For example, if your plan includes SMS text messaging, the app will provide an option for sending text messages to your members. To check your plan, log in to your web account. If you would like to add a feature to your plan, call Client Services at 877-698-3262, option 3. Devices running the Android version 2.2 operating system or newer can run this app. All devices will need a Wi-Fi connection to complete the installation; tablet devices require a Wi-Fi connection to use the app as well.

You can download the One Call Now Droid App from the Android Market App Store. To install from your Droid:

1. Enter your Group ID and PIN and then tap the Login button. Check the “Remember Me” box to save your login information. NOTE: Your PIN is not the same as your password. The PIN is a 4-digit number used to access your account by telephone. This PIN is assigned when you signed up for an account. To look up your PIN, log in to your One Call Now account, select My Profile and view it under the Group Leader Information.

Depending on your plan, you can send voice, text-to-speech, SMS text, and email messages to your members. If your plan does not have SMS text messaging, for instance, the app will not have the ability to text your members. To check your plan, log in to your web account or call Client Services at 877-6983262, option 3, then option 4. From the messages screen, you can add, edit, or delete messages. The messages screen is also the place to save, send, or schedule to send messages to your members. Add To add a new message, tap the plus icon. Depending on your plan, you can choose to create a voice, text-to-speech, SMS text, or an email message.

Voice To add a new voice message, tap the Voice Message button. On the next screen, name your message and use the recording and playback controls to record and listen to your message. For example, click the Record button to start recording and the Stop button to end recording. Listen to your message by clicking the Play button. You may re-record as many times as you need to get the message right.

Text-to-Speech To add a new text-to-speech message, tap the Text-to-Speech button. On the next screen, name your message and type the message into the box provided. The slider above the text box lets you know how much time of your allotted message length this message will use.

SMS Text Message To add a new SMS text message, tap the SMS Text Message button. On the next screen, name your message, provide an optional introduction and type the message into the box provided. To use the default Group introduction, leave this field blank. The slider above the text box lets you know how many of your allotted characters this message will use. The introduction does count against the character count.

Email Message To add a new email message, tap the Email Message button. On the next screen, name your message, enter a subject into the subject line and type the message into the box provided. The slider above the text box lets you know how many of your allotted characters this message will use.

After you are satisfied with your message, tap the Save or Send buttons to either save or send your message. Saving your message will take you back to the message screen and you will see the message name in your listing of messages.

Tapping the Edit button allows you to delete a message in your list. A minus icon will appear to the left of the message name. Tap this icon to display the Delete button to delete the message from your list. When you are finished, click the Done button.

Tapping the Send button will take you to the Send Message screen where you see message details such as message name, type, and length. You also have the option of listening to your message on this screen if you are sending a Voice or Text-to-Speech message. At the bottom of this screen are two buttons, Send to Subgroup(s) and Send to All Members. To send to all members in your Roster, tap the Send to All Members button; or tap the Send to Subgroup(s) button to send your message to one or more Subgroups. The next screen is the Delivery Options screen. This screen displays the standard delivery hours from your online account. There are also three buttons on this screen; Send Now, Tomorrow at your Scheduled Start Time, and Schedule for Later. Choose from these options to send your message. As you can imagine, Send Now will send your message now and Send Tomorrow will send your message on the following day at your group's starting time. The Schedule for Later button will open the Select Date screen. Choose the date to send your message; the message will start on the default time defined in your online account.

The Reports screen allows you to choose a date range to see any messages sent during a specified period. The five buttons on this screen are Scheduled Messages, Sent Today, Sent Yesterday, Sent Last 7 Days, and Sent Last 30 Days. Each report works the same way. By tapping one of these buttons, the next screen will display all the messages that fall into the period requested. For example, if you tap the Sent Today button, any messages that you sent today display in a list. Tap the message date to display the message summary. This includes type, status, initiation details, delivery attempt information, recipients, and a delivery count. To see individual destination results, tap the Details button.

To return to the login screen from the app, tap the Droid menu button then hit Sign Out.

To force the application to stop running, tap the Droid Home button, then Menu, Settings, Applications, Manage applications, tap the OCN app, then tap Force stop. If you need to uninstall the application, next to the Force stop button is the Uninstall button.
