Good morning and welcome to Hamlin Reformed Church. Welcome to any visitors worshiping with us this morning. As we worship and fellowship together, may we sense the Spirit of the Lord among us and hear him speaking to us. Everyone is invited to stay for a time of fellowship and Sunday School following the service this morning. There is a class for everyone. THANK YOU’S: Thank you to Larry & Rita for greeting before church today and providing cookies for fellowship time. ANNOUNCEMENTS At the Congregational Meeting on January 20th, Arnie Jongeling and Dave Niemann were elected elders, and Jared Brouwer and Brian Callesen were elected deacons. Ordination and installation of these new Consistory members will be this morning. Hamlin Reformed’s Men will serve the Valentine’s Day Pancake Breakfast today after worship. If you would like to volunteer your services to Shara while she takes her dialysis, the sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Library. Thanks. The RCWM will meet this Wednesday, February 13 at 1:30 PM. We will study lesson #2, “The Promise of His Return” led by Dorothy, devotions will be led by Aukje and Jeanette will be hostess. All ladies are welcome! Dave Niemann will be presenting (What is right with America ) by Dr. David Noebel this Sunday Night from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. East Central Cluster of Dakota Classis will have its winter gathering here at Hamlin Reformed Church on Saturday, February 16 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (*coffee and rolls at 9:30 am). Consistories from the participating churches will attend. All members of the Greater Consistory of Hamlin Reformed are invited to attend. This includes anyone who

has ever served on Consistory at Hamlin. Please see Pastor Justin with any questions and if you are planning to attend. Cadet Sunday will take place during worship on Sunday, March 17. Pastor Justin’s class on “How to Read the Old Testament” meets today after worship. The adult class on Wednesday night will be on “What We Believe: TULIP.” Next week's sermon will be "True Love: The Gospel" from 1 John 4:7-20. Pastor Justin will lead a parenting seminar using the curriculum from “Shepherding a Child’s Heart” by Tedd Tripp. If you are interested in attending, please see Pastor Justin to discuss scheduling options. We pray for Dorothy Sikkink as she spends more days in the hospital. We ask for your care and healing. We pray for the safety of everyone in the area as we deal with many weather issues. Be with each of us while traveling, working , or whatever it is we need to do. We once again thank you for your Son and his death on the cross for our sins. We praise you and ask your forgiveness for all our sins we have committed and those we will commit. Be with all of those who are in need of your care, peace, healing, and comfort.

CONSISTORY NOTES: Consistory met last Monday evening (February 3). The following topics were discussed: Sietse Andringa, Darrel Jongeling, Jeff TeKrony, and Bram Van’t Zelfde were thanked for their service. They are no longer serving on Consistory. Filling their vacant roles: Arnie Jongeling as Vice President of Consistory, Dave Niemann as Clerk, Dick Berg as Treasurer of Building and Grounds Committee, and Brian Callesen as Treasurer of Missions Committee. Congregational Meeting minutes (01/20/13) were approved. Weather concerns/calls for Hamlin events should be directed to Pastor Justin or another member of Consistory. Future cancellations will be made with adequate notice for those affected. The next Consistory meeting will be Monday, March 4.
