THE NEW RIGHT TO KNOW GLOBALLY HARMONIZED SYSTEM PICTOGRAM LABELS The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) is a worldwide hazard identification program designed to address classification of chemical hazards on labels and safety data sheets. The GHS aims to ensure that chemical information on physical hazards and toxicity are in a consistent form for protecting human health and the environment. GHS pictograms identify the hazards associated with chemicals and warn users of the types of precautions that should be taken to minimize adverse effects that could result from exposure. Adhesive Coated Paper is an economical choice for limited use. The coated paper is surface printed and has an acrylic adhesive back. Paper will permanently adhere to smooth, curved and irregular surfaces. Adhesive Vinyl labels are made of flexible 2.6-mil thick vinyl with a self-adhesive back. The pressure-sensitive vinyl permanently adheres to smooth, curved and irregular surfaces. It is moisture resistant with outdoor durability.
