Giclees Giclees (pronounced jee-clays) are a high quality art print produced using ink-jet technology with high quality oil based inks on high quality stretcher canvasses. They are available in a range of sizes all of which accurately reproduce the original form of the painting, and so the actual dimensions will vary slightly from the standard sizes which are used in the catalogue. Standard Giclee sizing is based on the following codes: 1. G1 or GA = Actual Size, indicates that the painting is available in a larger size 2. G2 = approximately A2 - 600 x 440 mm (24x18") 3. G3 = approximately A3 - 420 x 300 mm (18x12") 4. G4 = approximately A4 - 10" x 12" (250 x 300 mm} 5. G8 = 8” x 10” (200 x 250 mm) the full size of the small bird paintings 6. G6 = 6” x 8” - the full size of the Gourd and Healing Tiki paintings
Paper Prints A full range of paper prints is produced in a range of sizes. These prints are printed on high quality matt paper suitable for mounting and framing behind glass. They use the latest printing inks, which the manufacturers claim to be fade resistant for in excess of a century. These prints are produced in a set of standard sizes based on the international (metric) sizes, which involves minor cropping of most of the paintings. For those paintings where this results in loss of a significant amount of detail, there are special prints available in non–standard sizes which preserve the full details of the original paintings Table of Dimensions for Standard Fine Art Prints Catalog No
