Our Lady of Lourdes Tiger’s Roar

The Tiger’s Roar is published semi-annually for alumni, parents, and friends of OLL School.

October 2012 The 2012 – 2013 school year has begun. This year we welcomed 358 students to Our Lady of Lourdes. This is an increase from previous years. We now have three kindergartens, a first! There are some new teachers and our faithful veterans. Maybe as alumni you are in high school or college or maybe past those familiar school days. I hope Our Lady of Lourdes helped you to know Jesus and become an intelligent, well rounded , gifted, wonderful person. Always feel free to visit your Alma Mater. It is nice to see our success stories. Many blessings to you in all that you do.

Festival Fun for O.L.L. Alumni Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. Those were the days, oh yes those were the days. (Song “Those Were the Days”) O.L.L.’s annual Alumni Night during our Family Festival in July once again brought new and not so new alums

Alums Tony Broxterman’96, Tina Broxterman ‘97, Lauren DePaoli DeFranco ‘96, and Terri Fessel Broxterman ‘70 shared some memories with their families during Alumni night. It’s All in the Family with Alums Joan Hoffecker Fisher ‘67 and daughters Maureen Fisher Croxton ‘97, Erin Fisher ‘92, and OLL kindergartener Nora Winterrowd!

together. Photos from First Communion, school concerts, sports, etc. were shared with alums’ children and grandchildren. Thanks for walking down Memory Lane with us!

Best Wishes! Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Corinthians 13 Angela Costello ‘94 & Matthew Cunningham
