Brief description of undergraduate courses taught: (Course Title – Code: description) Introduction to Medicine Course MDMD 451: A 6-credit hours course that extends over a 6-week period and is offered to the 4th year medical students for 4 rotations per year. The course emphasizes history-taking and physical examination. I am serving as the coordinator for the course since November 1993. 5th Year Clerkship Course in Medicine MDMD 501: A 6-credit hours course that is taught over a 6 week period and given to the 5th year medical students for 6 rotations per year. The course objectives are to teach basic skills and the main subjects in Internal Medicine. 6th Year Clerkship Course in Medicine MDMD 551: A 10-credit hours course in Medicine that lasts over 9 weeks and is offered to 6th year medical students for 4 rotations per year. The course concentrates on patients' management, follow-up and principles of therapeutics. Nursing Course MDNU 313: A 9-credit hours course in Nursing. The Department of Internal Medicine gives lectures for this course which includes the renal lectures given by me.

It involves bedside clinical teaching, lectures, clinico-pathological meetings, tutorials and seminars (1988 – present). Active participation in the Residency Training Program of the Arab Board Diploma of Internal Medicine. The Program is a 4 year residency training and certified candidates are equated to those who hold other postgraduate degrees (1988 – present). I was serving as the Coordinator of the program from 1988 – 1991. Active participation in the Residency Training Program of Internal Medicine to King Faisal University Fellowship. The program is a 4-year residency training and certified candidates are considered equivalents to those who hold other postgraduate degrees 1987 to present). Each year the program is exactly 48 weeks and allocated 27.5 credit hours. The first year MDMD 811) is the fundamentals of Internal Medicine. The third year (MDMD 831) is the practice of medicine. The fourth and final year (MDMD 841) is the advanced internal medicine. I was serving as the coordinator of the program from 1988 – 1991.
