Galileo

The great scientist Galileo Galileo, born in Pisa, spent many years in Florence studying, experimenting and creating some of his amazing instruments. The Medici family, the grandukes of Tuscany, protected him until the last days of his life.

We will explore the city together, tracing the places the still today preserve his memory, included the front of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
