LOGO GUIDELINES Introduction
This guideline document provides direction for using Eastman Kodak Company, Austin Development Center technology and product brands for product promotion in the marketplace. This guide shall be used for Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) products and product packaging, and to prepare advertisements, Web content, product marketing literature, technical product literature, tradeshow signage, Graphical User Interfaces (GUI), and generally any promotional material used for these technologies and products.
General Product and technology logos do not contain any trademark symbols, but OEM licensees shall provide clear attribution to Eastman Kodak Company with respect to the ownership of the respective technologies. Trademark attribution statements will include the following statement: DIGITAL ICE is a trademark of Kodak. (where “DIGITAL ICE” would represent any of this guideline’s technology or product names)

About DIGITAL ICE Photo Print Technology: Sentence Description: DIGITAL ICE Photo Print Technology automatically removes surface defects like scratches, cracks, creases, rips, and dust from photographic prints during the scanning process. Paragraph Description: DIGITAL ICE Photo Print Technology uses a defect map to identify the precise locations of physical defects, or visual "noise" on a print being scanned. Differential shadowing technology and proprietary software algorithms quickly and automatically eliminate the unwanted defects, producing a scanned image file that improves upon the original print. DIGITAL ICE Photo Print Technology is designed to remove dust and lint, while also correcting scratches, cracks, rips, and creases found on the surface of most prints.

LOGO GUIDELINES Special Situation Usage Two Color Logos Two Color Logos with Transparent Backgrounds: Any of the two color technology or product logos can be used in a transparent background form. Follow the guidelines below for this type of usage.
Backgrounds ranging from pure White to backgrounds with a Black level grayscale value of less than 50% shall use logos with Black text as shown above.
Backgrounds ranging from pure Black to backgrounds with a White level grayscale value of less than 50% shall use logos with White text as shown above.
Two Color Logos with Solid Backgrounds: Any of the two color technology or product logos can also be used with solid color backgrounds of either White or Black as indicated below.

LOGO FILE NAMES: Product Logos: The following naming conventions apply to all technologies and plug-in products: DIGITAL ICE, DIGITAL ICE Photo Print, DIGITAL ROC, DIGITAL GEM, DIGITAL ICE3, and DIGITAL SHO. DIGITAL ROC will be used in the following example. drock_p.eps

The first part of the file names would change for other products. For example, “drockr_t.eps” would become “dshokr_t.eps” for the DIGITAL SHO Technology and “dgemkr_t.eps” for DIGITAL GEM Technology. The DIGITAL ICE line of products (DIGITAL ICE, DIGITAL ICE3 , and DIGITAL ICE Photo Print) are only available as technologies (not plug-ins), so their names do not use the “p” and “t” conventions. For example, the DIGITAL ICE Technology 2 color logo for white or light backgrounds would be named simply “dicek.eps”
