DAY 1/AUGUST 30, 2017 - DEPART CANADA Today you will board your overnight flight to Lisbon, Portugal. DAY 2/AUGUST 31, 2017 - ARRIVAL IN LISBON On arrival in Lisbon, we will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel where we will enjoy dinner. DAY 3/SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 - LISBON

B L After breakfast at the hotel we will start our visit by visiting Belem quarter (the monumental section of Lisbon) and its monuments. We will also visit The Tower of Belem, the monument to the Discoveries and the impressive Monastery of Jerónimos. All these monuments represent the “Golden Age” of the Portuguese Discoveries, which began in the 15th century. Driving to the opposite side of the city, we will visit the downtown area, the busy Rossio Square, the Comercio Square (also known as Black Horse Square) facing the Tagus River and the old Alfama quarter (a walking visit through its narrow streets). The afternoon will be free to enjoy at your leisure.

Page |2 DAY 4/SEPTEMBER 2, 2017 - LISBON - ESTORIL - CASCAIS - SINTRA - LISBON B L Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart, passing by Estoril and Cascais, important seaside resorts as we drive inland to Sintra, a small village considered a World Heritage site by Unesco. We will visit the National Town Palace (also known as “Palacio da Vila”) distinguished by its twin kitchen chimneys. This National Monument is a mixture of architectural styles, combining Gothic, Mud jar and Renaissance work, with superb 15th and 16th century “Azulejos” (hand painted wall tiles) in the main halls and Chapel. This afternoon will be free to enjoy at your leisure. DAY 5/SEPTEMBER 3, 2017 - LISBON / EVORA B L D After breakfast we will head to Evora. It is known as the “City Museum” and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here we will visit the Roman Temple of Diana, the Romanesque Gothic Cathedral, the Church of São Francisco from the 16th century and its Chapel of Bones. After stopping for lunch in a local restaurant, we will walk along the old streets of this walled town discovering the beauty of its Renaissance palaces and mansions and also the rich handicraft shops. We will return to the hotel for dinner. DAY 6/SEPTEMBER 4, 2017 - EVORA / MONSARAZ / EVORA B L Today we will visit Monsaraz, a small medieval town located high up. The town wall rises silently above the vast Alentejo plain. We will stop at Reguengos de Monsaraz to visit Herdade do Esporão, where we will taste the local wines and visit the vineyards, wineries and wine cellars. On our return to Evora, we will have lunch and then enjoy free time in the afternoon. DAY 7/SEPTEMBER 5, 2017 - EVORA – FATIMA – PORTO – EMBARKATION B D After breakfast, we will enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside to Porto, with a stop at Fátima to visit the Catholic shrine of Our Lady, one of the most famous in the world. Explore the town and enjoy lunch on your own before we continue on to Porto to board our ship. Gather on board tonight for a Welcome Dinner. DAY 8/SEPTEMBER 6, 2017 - PORTO- RÉGUA B L D Spend a leisurely morning soaking up the beauty of the Douro River as we cruise to Régua, a Portuguese town renowned for its utterly spectacular scenery. After arriving this afternoon, enjoy a port wine tasting at Quinto do Seixo, a lovely 108-acre country estate that offers an interactive wine museum and breathtaking views of steeply terraced hillside vineyards, the Douro River and the nearby village of Pinhão. All port made here is destined for Sandeman, a company known around the world for its quality wines. Later, you may choose to visit the Douro Museum, which offers a comprehensive and fascinating in-depth look at the unique Douro wine-growing region. Our ship moors in Régua overnight. DAY 9/SEPTEMBER 7, 2017 - RÉGUA - BARCA D’ALVA B L D This morning, we will have an excursion to ancient and picturesque Lamego, home to one of the most important pilgrimage sites in all of Portugal - the Nossa Senhora dos Remédios (Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies). The shrine features a staircase of nearly 700 steps, beautifully decorated with white and blue tiles. Other attractions include a Gothic cathedral, a museum, and charming cafés. This afternoon, enjoy the wild, rugged scenery as our ship cruises through the dramatic gorges of the Douro river valley en route to Barca d’Alva. DAY 10/ SEPTEMBER 8, 2017 - SALAMANCA, SPAIN – VEGA TERRÓN, SPAIN B L D Drive to Salamanca today for a full-day tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, located at the center of Spain’s Castilla y León region. Built of golden sandstone, Salamanca is known as a living museum, an opportunity to step back in time to the Middle Ages. During our guided tour, you will see the city’s elegant university buildings, the twin-towered Cathedral, the intriguingly decorated House of Shells, as well as Plaza Mayor - considered the most magnificent main square in Spain. We will rejoin the ship in Vega Terrón, where the ship moors overnight.

DAY 11/ SEPTEMBER 9, 2017 - VEGA TERRÓN – PINHÃO B L D After breakfast we tour Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, a small fortified village perched high on a hilltop with 16thcentury walls and steep, narrow streets. Stop to admire the Chafariz dos Pretos, a striking and very unique fountain decorated with black faces. Return to the ship for lunch and cruise onward to Pinhão. This evening, you will be treated to a wine-tasting and dinner at a local “quinta.” We moor overnight in Pinhão. DAY 12/ SEPTEMBER 10, 2017 - RÉGUA – ENTRE-OS-RIOS B L D This morning we cruise to Régua for an excursion to the Baroque-style Palacio de Mateus and its gardens, located in the beautiful Trás-os-Montes region near the city of Vila Real. Inside the house you’ll see exhibits of religious images and beautiful furnishings, paintings and ceiling of intricately carved wood. The gardens here are considered some of the most beautiful in Portugal. Return to the ship for lunch while the ship cruises to Entre-Os-Rios, arriving this evening. Tonight, you will enjoy a traditional home-cooked Portuguese meal at the Alpendurada Monastery. Savor a glass of port as you take in the gorgeous view from the monastery’s terrace. DAY 13/ SEPTEMBER 11, 2017 - PORTO B L D Our ship arrives in Porto, the capital of northern Portugal, early this morning. Your guided tour of the historical quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, includes a number of iconic sights: the Porto Cathedral, one of the city’s oldest and most impressive monuments; the bustling main square; and the Sao Bento Railway Station, renowned for its magnificent blue and white tile panels depicting scenes from Portuguese history. You’ll also enjoy a tasting of port wine, which derives its name from this very city. The ship moors overnight in Porto. DAY 14/ SEPTEMBER 12, 2017 - PORTO - DISEMBARKATION Our cruise comes to an end as you prepare for your homeward flight.
