Doosan – A World Leader in Infrastructure Doosan Infracore began over 110 years ago, and is Korea’s foremost machinery maker, unrivalled in each of our four business lines: construction equipment, industrial vehicles, machine tools and engines. Doosan Infracore is the largest construction equipment manufacturer in Korea and among the largest manufacturers in the world. Doosan Infracore is a $20 Billion company with over 20,000 employees worldwide. Doosan has been producing excavators since 1937 and enjoys #1 market share for excavators in China and South Korea. Our strong global foundation provides the stability and resources to provide the highest-quality products for our customers as well as innovative programs that support those products. Doosan Infracore has a global vision of ranking among the Top 3 in global infrastructure support businesses and to be one of the world’s Top 3 construction equipment manufacturers. It is a commitment and an investment that will solidify Doosan as a reliable and respectable partner for years to come.

Acquisitions for Global Leadership Doosan Infracore’s recent global acquisitions of three businesses from Ingersoll Rand-Bobcat, Attachments and Utility Equipment-and the most recent acquisition of Moxy Engineering provide an opportunity for Doosan to offer world-class equipment and support to customers across the world.

Bobcat boasts the world’s strongest competitiveness in the compact construction equipment segment, which elevated Doosan Infracore to seventh on the list of global construction equipment makers. In addition, the acquisition of Moxy Engineering, which possesses original technology related to articulated dump trucks, paved the way for Doosan Infracore to become a major player in the market for very large construction and mining equipment. Doosan recognizes that North America is the heart of the global economy and the world’s largest market. We are taking advantage of the superb competitiveness and synergy with Bobcat, Tramac, Geith, Montabert, Portable Power and Moxy Trucks to make further inroads into the North American market and become a global construction manufacturing leader. Doosan is a world leader in construction equipment because everything we do is with our customer in mind. That’s partnership. That’s leadership. That’s Doosan.

Product Reliability

Doosan products have a worldwide reputation for quality and reliability, regularly clocking longer hours than the industry average. Our equipment is backed by world-class customer service and product support, and our North American Parts Distribution Center located at our Atlanta headquarters houses an extensive inventory of high-quality parts. But even the best equipment has to be backed by knowledgeable people. That’s why we developed a multimillion dollar technical and sales training center that provides dealers, customers and Doosan personnel with the industry’s most up-to-date sales and product support training.

The Center for Product Reliability has sophisticated machines for testing and handling of excavators as well as evaluating the performance and durability of transmissions, axles, reduction gears and other drivetrain components.

Research and Development Our vast corporate resources enable us to hire the best talent and invest in R&D for continuous improvement of our products and services, and product support training. Doosan Infracore has over 800 researchers who are currently working at the corporate R&D center and at research facilities around the world as part of a drive to enhance product competitiveness and establish a solid basis for long-term growth. Doosan established the Central Research Institute in 1981, and since then has maintained a robust program for developing in-house models for every business line.

Doosan has a vast reliability testing center and is tasked with ensuring reliability of excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, and diesel engines at each production stage and ultimately with achieving the very highest quality available anywhere.

The result is the hardest-working, most-reliable heavy construction equipment on the planet
