Introduction What Is A Guardian Stone? There are so many crystals you can use for protection. Different crystals will have their own unique way of protecting you. Sometimes it can be hard to know which crystal you should use, and some will work better for one person than for another. Wouldn’t it be great to know which crystal was ideal for us? I’ve created this unique system so that you can find a special crystal that resonates with your personal vibration, based on your own astrological energy. I have called these the Guardian Stones. Your Guardian Stone can be your personal go-to crystal for psychic protection. You can use it every day or just when you feel you need it. You can also use this guide to find a Guardian Stone for your friends, family and loved ones. What Is Psychic Protection? Put simply, psychic protection is really just protection from negative energies. These energies may be harmful to you on a spiritual or emotional level.
Why Do We Need Protection? When you think about it, everything is energy. Our energy field or aura interacts with the energy of people and places constantly throughout our day. It’s easy for us to take on some of these energies or allow someone’s negativity to affect us. For me psychic protection has always been about having healthy energetic boundaries. Anyone who is even slightly empathic will know when you take on too much of other’s negative energies, it does not feel good. It can really dampen your mood and lower your energy, which is no good to you or anybody.

Most people go around not knowing this is happening. If you have ever sensed someone’s strong dislike for you or worse experienced what is known as a psychic attack, you will soon realise you have to take some steps to help shield yourself from harmful energies. There are many different ways you can protect yourself, such as visualizations known as Shielding Techniques. Since ancient times people have also carried amulets including crystals for protection. Having a physical object like a crystal can help strengthen and shield your aura. Crystals can transmute, deflect or absorb harmful energies.
How The Guardian Stones Came About The initial idea for the Guardian Stones came to me back in 2012, while I was learning about Astrology. I also had a strange dream where I was shown a symbol and the word “Guardian” carved into a wooden door. This mysterious symbol looked like an astrological symbol. In astrology an Astrologer will look to the sign of the Zodiac which was rising on the Eastern horizon at the time of your birth. This is known as your Rising Sign or Ascendant in Astrology. This is different from your Sun Sign (also known as your Star Sign). Each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac have what is known as a Ruling Planet associated with them. In ancient times it was believed that at the birth of a child the God or Goddess of the Ruling Planet of the Rising Sign would be standing on the Eastern horizon. It was believed that they would watch over them their whole life, almost like a Guardian Angel. When I thought about this symbolically it made sense. Our Rising Sign is how we meet the World, which is what Psychic Protection is all about. Initially I experimented with different crystals and got a few friends to test and trial the potential Guardian Stones. I knew I still needed to be develop the system more but wasn’t sure how. The project was put on the shelf and later forgotten about.
The Reawakening Of The Guardian Stones Fast forward to 2015 and I started to get the missing pieces of the puzzle. I developed the system further in a way which was much more powerful, effective and easy to apply. From the many crystals which carried the energies of each of the Ruling Planets I was able to pinpoint those with the most protective energies. These crystals represent the planetary energies of the astrological ruler or ‘Guardian’ of each of the Rising Signs, but also carry highly protective properties. And so this book was born. This valuable information I am about share with you is not available anywhere else!

How To Use This Book In the next part of this book I will guide you through the process of finding your Rising Sign and its Ruling Planet. From this we can then determine which Guardian Stone will work best for you. In Part 2 you will learn all about your Guardian Stone’s protective properties and how to program your crystal for protection. You will discover different ways to use your Guardian Stone for personal protection and around the Home. I will also reveal alternative crystals and a special shielding technique designed especially for your Guardian Stone.

Part 1: How To Find Your Guardian Stone To discover your Guardian Stone we will need to access some information based on the details of your astrological Natal Chart. We are looking for your Rising Sign, also known as your Ascendant. If you’re already familiar with Astrology you may already know your Rising Sign. If so then just go straight to the section below or click Discover Your Guardian Stone.
What Is A Natal Chart? The Natal Chart, also known as an Astrological Birth Chart is what Astrologers use to look at a persons personality, strengths and weaknesses. It’s a diagram, like a snapshot of the location of all the Planets at the time of your birth. Perhaps you already have your Natal Chart. These days it’s allot easier than it used to be to access your Natal Chart thanks to the internet. If you already have a copy of your Natal Chart but are not sure how to locate your Rising Sign on it just go straight to the section below or click Finding Your Rising Sign. If you don’t already have a copy of your Natal Chart I will walk you through the process of generating one below.
How To Generate A Natal Chart There are many websites that can be used to find out your Rising Sign or generate a full Natal Chart for free. You will need to supply your date of birth, your place of birth and the time of birth. Without the time of birth you cannot determine your Rising Sign. Your time of birth should be on your birth certificate. If not you could always find out from your Mother the approximate time of day or night you were born but this is much less accurate. Some Professional Astrologers have ways to determine your Rising Sign if the birth time is unknown.

I recommend using a site like www.astro.com to generate an accurate Natal Chart using Western Astrology. It’s free and you don’t have to even sign up with them to do this. Just follow the steps below:
1. Find your birth data. You need the place, date and time of your birth. It should all be on your birth certificate. 2. Go to www.astro.com 3. Select Free Horoscopes which opens up a menu. Look under Drawings & Calculations and select Chart Drawing, Ascendant. 4. Fill in your birth details as a guest user to generate your Natal Chart. 5. It’s a good idea to save this file and print it out if you wish. Now you’re ready to find your Rising Sign.
Finding Your Rising Sign If you used www.astro.com to generate a Natal Chart, your Rising Sign is listed at the top in the red text as your Ascendant. Most computer generated charts should do this too. If your using a Natal Chart which does not clearly state the Rising Sign or Ascendant it’s still okay, there is another easy way without having to understand any numbers or symbols used on the diagram. Most Natal Charts have a box of data, which lists the locations of all the Planets. Just look down this list for the initials AC it should have a sign of the Zodiac next to it (It may be abbreviated). This is your Rising Sign.
Discover Your Guardian Stone You are now very close to discovering your personal Guardian Stone. To do this we just need to look at the Ruling Planet of that sign. So just look down the list and find your Rising Sign, next to this is your Ruling Planet. You may come across other Planets associated with your sign elsewhere but for the Guardian Stones system we work with the more ancient Classical Ruling Planets. The Ruling Planet of your Rising Sign is your Celestial Guardian. Turn to the page next to your Ruling Planet below to discover your Guardian Stone. Hematite Ruling Planet: Mars
Your Guardian Stone is Hematite. Hematite is a dark metallic stone and the source of much of the World’s Iron. The metal Iron has been associated with Mars since ancient times. When this crystal is chipped or scratched, red rust can form which led many people in the past to believe the stone was bleeding. This is certainly a warrior crystal, it even looks like armour. Hematite is a stone of Mars which offers powerful protection from harmful energies. It shields against these and blocks any psychic attacks. This crystal helps strengthen your aura. Turquoise Ruling Planet: Venus
Your Guardian Stone is Turquoise. The colour of Turquoise ranges from sky blue to shades of blue green and it is characterised by darker veins or brown mottling. This crystal is commonly found growing near Copper mines and not surprisingly contains Copper, the source of its beautiful colour. The metal Copper has been associated with Venus since ancient times. Turquoise has long been used as an amulet for protection in many cultures. Fluorite Ruling Planet: Mercury
Your Guardian Stone is Fluorite. Fluorite is a crystal which can occur in various colours and colour combinations. For psychic protection look for Fluorite or Rainbow Fluorite, which has a good amount of purple mixed with either clear, white, yellow or any colours you like. The Guardian Stone for Cancer Rising
Larvikite Ruling Planet: The Moon
Your Guardian Stone is Larvikite, also known as Norwegian Black Moonstone and Black Labradorite. Larvikite is mined in Norway and is from the same family of minerals as Moonstone. This crystal is steely blue grey, mottled with black. It has a silvery iridescent sheen that looks like moonlight shining through the clouds in the night sky. Larvikite is a crystal that shields you from all kinds of unwanted and manipulative energies as well as psychic attacks. The Guardian Stone for Leo Rising
Tiger’s Eye Ruling Planet: The Sun Your Guardian Stone is Tiger’s Eye. This crystal got its name because the markings resemble a Tiger’s stripes and also because of its cat’s eye effect. Tiger’s Eye is a yellow to golden brown stone with black and brown stripes. The play of light causes such a shift in this crystal that the stripes literally move and alternate as you turn it. Tiger’s Eye is a good all round protection crystal. It blocks and deflects others psychic projections easily.
