Background
The initial concept for DataStore started in 1994 following the introduction of the CDM Regulations and the potential need for electronic storage of H&S Files. Initially disc based, we developed and managed the H&S File storage system for a leading retailer and their UK stores from 1994 onwards. By 2002 our H&S File information was accessible on-line by all consultants and contractors working on our client’s projects. The last few years have seen other modules and interfaces created, including CDM DataStore, Supply-Base Manager, Workload-Incident Manger and Property DataStore.

SupplyBase Manager CDM DataStore A specific CDM module which provides clients with an end-to-end CDM management system for all duty holders on projects
Allows clients to actively manage their competent supply chain, providing competence records and performance information on designers, consultants, CDM co-ordinators and contractors

Our Clients
Marks and Spencer M&S has used DataStore since its inception back in 1994 to help them in the safe management of their construction projects and stores. The system has grown with time and various modules have been added. DataStore has proved invaluable to M&S in their recent asbestos court case, as we have been able to provide M&S with records of information dating back many years.
Our Clients
Metropolitan Police Service In 2004 Capita Symonds won a commission with the MPS for Property DataStore to store and manage all of its property safety information across its property portfolio. Our user interface and data backup protocols passed the various security checks required by the Met Police. Transport for London In 2010 we won a major commission with TfL for the development and implementation of CDM DataStore to manage their London construction projects at street level.
