Scope of Project - Package

Starter Templated Wordpress Package This package provides a website built for the small business looking to get an online presence quickly and affordably. It includes setup and installation of website and basic customization. This package is perfect for the new business or organization.

Design Creative Impact Solutions will customize a design template for the new website, with an emphasis on a professional and trusted image, call to actions and ease of navigation. Basic revisions may be made to the logo, colors and images used in banner. All revisions to the design requested by the client will be made before beginning development of the site functionality and programming. Package includes two rounds of revisions. A revision is defined as a single set of changes to the design and content. These changes are provided by the client to Creative in sets called rounds. Once all changes have been defined for a round, Creative implements that round of revisions.

The design may include up to three (3) royalty-free stock images (includes photos and textures) that will be purchased by Creative Impact Solutions for this project.

Development After the design has been approved, Creative Impact Solutions will provide validated and compliant HTML/CSS markup to structure the current site for functionality and content population within the design. A Wordpress framework will be used to manage the backend and provide CMS (Content Management System) capabilities.

Client-Provided Scripts and HTML Please note that client-provided HTML code or scripts including contact forms from third parties may incur an additional charge to install and will always require an additional charge if they are to be customized.

Banner The included rotating banner (slide or fade) provides movement and interest to a website. The banner images may contain pictures or images provided by the client or purchased by Creative. If the client requires graphic design for advanced banners, this may be quoted separately.

Content All content provided by the client before development begins will be entered into the site by Creative. All content provided after development beings will be entered into the site by the client. Creative Impact Solutions is not responsible for creating or providing content for the website, although Creative can be separately contracted to produce and write professional and optimized content for an additional fee.

Website Training Creative Impact Solutions is dedicated to empowering our clients and will provide one hour of website training to educate the client as to how to manage their website using the Wordpress administrative panel. This time may be spent via phone conference or face to face meeting. Unlimited support and help via email is available to all our clients.

Acceptance and Ownership Upon completion and after the client signs off acceptance of the project, Creative Impact Solutions will transfer the site from the Creative testing server to the client’s hosting. After this point, additional work not covered under the 90-day warranty detailed later in this document will be quoted separately. Also upon completion and final payment, the client will retain ownership of all files and artwork and may receive these on CD or online zip file upon request. Creative Impact Solutions does not retain ownership of the client website or design files after final payment.

Web Hosting Web hosting will be provided during the production of your new website to provide a location on the internet to house the website while being developed. Creative Impact Solutions can provide cutting edge hosting with unlimited storage space, bandwidth, and email accounts for your completed website upon request.

Website Maintenance The website is built on a CMS (Content Management System) that allows the client to manage their own content, however we offer this optional monthly package with the convenience of being able to call, email or even fax updates to Creative Impact Solutions and have those updates added to the website by our experienced staff. This service is optional.

Payment Terms A down payment of $600 will initiate the project timeline and begin the design phase. The balance is due upon completion. The balance is due upon completion of the site in its entirety on our testing server. The site will be released from our testing server upon the balance being paid in full and installed into the clients hosting on the domain intended for the site. These payments do not include the required hosting or the optional maintenance charges. All timelines begin after receipt of the required information and resources from the client. Projected site completion is three to four weeks from the commencement of the project timeline. Timely and accurate submission of information from the client and quick responses to communications are necessary for keeping the project on task.

Additional Information Why Wordpress? Wordpress is a hosted CMS (content management system) that is used as a framework to build a website upon to allow the client to manage their own content within a robust and easy to use administrative environment. The framework is also very extensible and compared to many other frameworks, is easier to build upon should the website be improved or upgraded at a later date. Because this framework stores all of the website information and media within a database instead of hard coded, it is highly editable and easily backed up.

Warranty Creative Impact Solutions will warrant the design and coding of the provided website for 90 days after project completion. All errors to the original code and design implemented by Creative Impact Solutions will be corrected at no additional cost. This does not include changes to page content or updates not previously discussed or agreed upon. All work beyond the Warranty and Troubleshooting period will be billed at an hourly rate of $75. In lieu of the hourly rate of $75, the client may elect to purchase a monthly maintenance plan for a fee of $35 per month, payable quarterly in advance of the quarter. The website is guaranteed to function properly on Creative Impact Solutions web hosting and any modern web hosting company with up-to-date servers. If you have a question regarding any other provider, please feel free to ask.

Project Manager A project manager will contact the client as the primary point of contact for Creative Impact Solutions. While other members of the Creative Team will be available, assigning a dedicated project manager allows the process to be smoother and ensures the client’s needs are always addressed and managed with care.
