Why Are Control Policies Important? Alcohol use may fuel outbreaks of fighting and other forms of disruptive behavior Alcohol consumption increases the risk of alcohol-related harm and drunk driving Eliminate over-serving of adult alcohol consumers Eliminate underage sales and access to alcohol (
