TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1.

Enrolling for a training course at ANDTc entitles each student to receiving a training experience that we believe is second to none, and includes the following:     

 

A comprehensive set of course notes and other publications. Field visits, for which we request students to contribute by means of providing transport. Access to our library of NDT publications and standards. End of course examinations. Unfortunately we have to charge a fee of R600 incl. vat per examination part (general, specific or practical paper) that has to be rewritten. Successful students will receive a certificate stating that the student has successfully completed a BINDT (British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing) accredited training course, that makes the student eligible to write the associated PCN examination. Please note that the PCN examination fee is not included in the course fee unless so quoted. A pack of essential stationary and measuring equipment without which no qualified NDT technician should be on site. Lunch, tea and coffee.

Course times are from 08:00 until 16:00.

Students that do not meet the eligibility requirements for a course but believe that they are capable of successfully completing the course should contact ANDTc. Some students may be required to attend preparatory course(s) before they will be allowed to enroll.

Enrolment      

A completed and signed enrolment form (QF-TRG-1095), together with proof of payment of 50% of the course fee, must be faxed to +27 (0) 12 665 4749 or emailed to [email protected] or [email protected]. Provided that all eligibility conditions have been met, a student’s enrolment will be confirmed in writing by ANDTc. On or before the first day of the course, the balance of 50% of the course fee, or proof of payment thereof, must be provided, otherwise attendance will not be allowed. Cheques are to be made payable to: African NDT Centre (Pty) Ltd. We have visa/mastercard facilities. Cancellation  

If cancellation of enrolment for a course is received more than 7 days prior to the commencement of the course, fees paid in advance will be credited towards a later date course in the same year. In case of late cancellation (less than 7 days prior to the commencement of the course) or non-attendance, 25% of the course fee (Incl VAT) will be retained.

As part of our training philosophy we endeavour to expose students to the latest NDT inspection equipment currently available. Due to the great diversity of inspection equipment in use, we do request that students for ultrasonic testing courses also bring their own equipment along when attending training. In some cases, having additional equipment available, may ensure that enrolment can be accepted.

7.

ANDTc reserves the right, if there are insufficient enrolments 14 days prior to the commencement date of a course, to reschedule (or cancel) the course.

8.

Training courses are presented in accordance with the principles contained in ANDTc’s Training Scheme (Doc No QP-TRG-1045), which is available on request.
