Designers Flair Designers use their creative abilities to produce a layout with a bold, modern but elegant appearance

Requested layouts will be provided at no charge for orders that are placed with 5 days production time. A charge will apply to orders requesting a layout with less than 5 days production. Layouts are not available for orders due in less than 8 working hours. You are allowed 2 layouts at no charge. Additional layouts will be charge $3.00 per layout. Your layout will be sent via fax and we must receive signed approval by the day and time specified on the cover sheet provided with your proof, or delays may occur with your order. Any changes to your layout must be received in writing.

LAYOUTS

UNACCEPTABLE ARTWORK Small lines or details on your logo/artwork tend to disappear or close up. We will notify you of any artwork we anticipate may not reproduce well, however, Gold Star will not be responsible for any artwork that does not engrave to your satisfaction.

ACCEPTABLE ARTWORK

We recommend that you send your artwork via e-mail. We require black & white line art (no grayscale or percentages of black) for all methods of engraving other than full color imprint. Logos and artwork copied from Websites is NOT acceptable artwork. Please send your file as a Corel Draw (.cdr), .eps, .ai, .pdf (convert text to curves) or as a 300 DPI or higher resolution .tif, .bmp, .jpg file and email to us at [email protected] Please put your company name, contact name and a phone number. If you've been working with a salesperson, please put Attn: along with their name in the Subject Line of your email. If your artwork requires touch up, a charge may apply and you will be quoted before any work is done. If you do not have suitable artwork, send I the copy you have to receive a quote for our Art Department to create suitable artwork for you.

As each engraving method has its own art requirements, not all artwork will work for every available method. You can choose from the artwork below or call for other options. If your artwork selection is unsuitable for the engraving method required we will help you find appropriate artwork that will work for the item and engraving process selected.

PLACING, CHANGING OR CANCELING YOUR ORDER In order to ensure accuracy, it is our policy not to accept orders or changes to orders by telephone. If you are not visiting our showroom we request that anyone placing or changing an order, do so in writing - via fax or email. Please notify us as soon as possible if changes need to be made on an order that has been approved by you for production. We will be glad to work with you to make any needed changes, however if production has already begun work on your order additional charges may be incurred. Please fax or email any changes to your order. Please contact us if you do not receive confirmation that your changes have been received. We do not accept responsiblity for any changes that have not been confirmed. Late cancellations may be subject to partial or full charges. Clients who have ( special order item ) will be contacted when their order has arrived. For clients who visit our showroom with in-house production orders, it is our policy to schedule your pickup date when you place your order. No other form of notification will be made informing you that your order is ready. For clients who fax their orders (unless you specify otherwise) your order will be ready for pickup in 5 business days. EXPRESS SERVICES Normal Production time on most stock items is 4 or 5 business days. However, we will make every effort to get your awards ready when needed Express Services are always available. A charge for this service may apply. PAYMENT OPTIONS We accept the following forms of payment - Cash - Check with proper ID - ( Telecheck services used )Returned checks will receive a $30.00 process fee - Credit Cards - Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover - P.O. Required Up Front - If your account requires a P.O. or Payment Up Front we will not be able to put your order into production, special order any merchandise, or produce layouts until we receive either forms of payment. Partners One Trade Group SPECIAL ORDERS We offer special order services on a wide variety of items. Factory requirements as to minimum order, setups and production times will vary.
