INTRODUCTION

SCG Chemicals, one of the three core business units of SCG, has embarked upon the chemicals business since 1989. It manufactures and supplies a full range of petrochemical products, ranging from upstream petrochemicals (Olefins), intermediate petrochemicals (Styrene Monomer, PTA, and MMA), to downstream petrochemicals (all four main plastic resin - Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polyvinyl Chloride , and Polystyrene). Presently one of the largest integrated petrochemical companies in Thailand and a key industry leader in Asia and the Pacific, SCG Chemicals has over 5,000 people employed by the 70 companies in the group located all over the globe. Widely recognized for its quality products as well as excellent management and international standard operations throughout the organization, SCG Chemicals has entered into joint venture deals with a number of the world’s leading chemicals firms, including the Dow Chemical Company of the USA, and Mitsui Chemicals and Mitsubishi Rayon of Japan.

EL-ProTM PP Block Copolymer resin for automotive battery case and cover provides excellent UV and thermal resistance. Our EL-ProTM P722JO and P685J show the brighter whiteness and maintain natural color longer than general PP. Moreover, P685J also provides excellent stiffness, good UV and heat resistance, make it suitable for use at high service temperature and outdoor environment.
