Basel Seminars in Pathology Paediatric Pathology & Genetics June 22nd – 25th, 2016 Institute of Pathology, University Hospital Basel
Introduction The Basel Seminars in Pathology were established in 2010 to provide an update on diagnostic issues of our rapidly evolving discipline. Rotating across specialties over the years, the 2016 Basel Seminars in Pathology are devoted to Paediatric Pathology and Genetics, in reflection of their close interrelation. The Basel Seminar proper on the Friday and Saturday is designed to address the needs of the general pathologist for everyday problems with a special touch-up on frontiers in molecular diagnostics focusing on young patients. The Pre-Seminar Workshops on Thursday and Wednesday provide specialized training opportunities on selected topics in paediatric pathology and laboratory procedures of motility diagnostics.
