The History of FĒNIX, LLC FĒNIX, LLC is named for the mythical Fenix known within most cultures. FĒNIX, LLC rose from the ashes of Seneca Wire & Manufacturing Company. In 2004, in its 100th year in business, the tempering department of Seneca Wire burned. FĒNIX, LLC was conceived, designed and built to take full advantage of improvements in workflow, new processes, and state-of-the art equipment and technology required to compete into the future. FĒNIX, LLC has engineered and installed the most modern cold drawing, rolling and tempering capability in the world. By combining State-of-the-Art equipment with 100 years of process and product knowledge, FĒNIX, LLC, delivers Round and Flat Tempered Wire with the highest value available anywhere.

Quality: Tempered Wire quality begins with proper steel selection. We tailor our steel selection based on “best fit” for a given application. At FĒNIX, LLC we maximize product quality by linking continuous quality improvements throughout our supply chain. These linkages are engineered by utilizing our knowledge within the supply chain to create Tempered Wire product quality that sets the Standard in our Industry. Internally, FĒNIX, LLC deploys the most stringent process and product controls for our Tempered Wire products. Every significant process parameter is continuously monitored including Laser measurement for dimensional control, Optical Pyrometer measurement for temperature control, Eddy Current testing for surface control, and many others. Using this approach allows FĒNIX, LLC to produce tighter tolerances than industry standards for all products. Final Mechanical, Dimensional, and Surface inspection is made on the start and finish of each coil. This provides a check that our process and product capability exceeds our customer’s specification. The FĒNIX, LLC Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management Systems are integrated into one Management System. Our Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2008 through ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc. and meets the TS16949 Automotive Standard. Our Safety & Health Management System received the Safety Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) from the Department of Labor’s OSHA On-Site Consulting. Our metallurgical lab allows FĒNIX, LLC to support our customers with metallurgical evaluation, failure analysis and product development.
