Maheshwary Marbles The house of world-class natural stones Maheshwary Marbles is synonymous with high quality natural stones in India. The company started operations in 1978 as a small retail yard in Coimbatore, when the founder Shreegopal Rander realised that the city did not have stone retail shops that could offer adequate choice or service to customers. Founded with an objective to cater to this need, Maheswary Marbles, today, has grown to become one of the most respected ‘Quarry to Floor’ companies in the sector.

S B Rander Group Established in the year 1946, S B Rander is today a diversified Group operating across sectors like Textiles, Commodities, Natural Stones, Infrastructure Development and Realty. The Group started its activities in the Textile sector, when the founding father, Late Shri Bhagirathji Rander started operations as an importer of silk from Bengal. His ideology of value-driven entrepreneurship - earning goodwill and putting customer interests before profits continues to be the guiding principle behind the Group’s growth over the years. In the natural stones business, its subsidiary Maheshwary Marbles, has built a credible name for the Group, with its strong retail reach across the globe.

The company entered the manufacturing space in 1984 and quarrying operations began in 1987 in the state of Rajasthan. Today, the company has a presence in major natural stone manufacturing regions like Katni and Banswara; and a network of retail yards across major cities like Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Kota and Coimbatore. With the setting up of a dedicated Exim division in 2005, the company started targeting global markets by exporting high-quality natural stone blocks, especially from its own quarries. Simultaneously, it also started importing premium stone blocks from Italy and other markets to ensure better control over the quality of products sold through its retail network.

Quarries Mining the choicest of Natural Stones Maheshwary Marbles currently has quarries in three major natural stone sites in India, with the ‘Colorado’ quarry being the latest addition. Going forward, the company is exploring mining opportunities across the globe in its quest to unearth the best and most unique range of natural stones.

The flagship product of the company, Aspur King is one of the most popular stones of Indian origin. Diagonal grains on an English grey background give a rich look to the stone. With an annual production of 60,000 tonnes, the Aspur King quarry located in Banswara, is one of the largest stone mining operations in India.

Highly distinctive, Miracle Marble is one of the most unique designs in the world of stones. It’s a favourite amongst architects across India, and has received a tremendous response for application at premium locations like luxury hotels and bungalows. Its unique and random designs truly make each slab a distinctive piece of art.

One of the most popular offerings from the company, this dark coloured stone has found an overwhelming response from the market, especially in project applications like hotels and commercial complexes. Grey Furi is regularly exported to China and Russia as well.

The latest addition to our quarry portfolio, Colorado, with its resemblance to Red Alicante, has become an instant favourite among architects. The red base with veins of white lime stone running through, makes it a compelling product for various applications.

Processing Centre, Chittorgarh

Processing Facilities Enhancing the aesthetic appeal Maheshwary Marbles currently operates two major processing facilities in India. The processing facility in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan produces 3.5 million sq. ft. of slabs and tiles. At this facility, the company also has an 80-tray resin liner and pneumatic polishing machines to further improve the post-application beauty of the stone. The other processing unit is in the state of Madhya Pradesh in Katni with a capacity to produce 1.5 million sq. ft. of natural stones. The combined processing capacity of 5 million sq. ft. gives the company the capability to handle large projects. Having established strong quarrying operations for 4 products, the company is aggressively investing in better technologies to process these materials. The company is planning to enter into granite processing by setting up a multi-wire gang-saw machine at Chittorgarh, which would primarily focus on processing a range of granites from the Rajasthan belt. The company is also trebling its processing capacity to 15 million sq. ft. per annum to further propel its growth and service a more diverse range of clients.
