Renegade’s Car Show ACC members attending this year’s Renegade’s Car Show held on, Sunday, January 12th, at 1393 NW 136th avenue in Sunrise, Florida, met for breakfast at 7:30 AM, at Lester’s Diner just south of Sunrise Blvd. The day was warm, bright and sunny. After breakfast around 8:30 AM everyone loaded up and headed for the show. Upon arrival ACC was parked on the circle. Seventeen cars represented the club, so the circle was filled.
ACC members went to work polishing, primping and detailing their corvettes. The Renegade’s Car Show had door prizes and 50/50 ticket sales going all day. Mickey won a door prize. There were games, prizes and several completion with the Miami Dolphin Mascot. Valarie lost in the Rock, Paper, scissors game but won a new Dolphin logo T-shirt in the Push-up competition by not being the first to quit.

Many trophies were given out to the more than 30 car clubs attending. 15 ACC members won trophies.
Baskets Case On Tuesday, January, 7th, ACC members met in St. Marks, lunchroom to assemble baskets for the Silent Auction. The assemblers were, cochairpersons Shelly & Stacey with their spouses, Victor & Derrick, Larry & Barbara, Karen, Joan, Steve P., Joanne, Carol S., John & Valarie, Joan, Mickey & Herb, Norma & Jim, Donna & Frankie. Baked ziti, soft drinks, chips and other goodies were served.
A special thank you goes to Karen and Matt for hosting another basket making get together on January 14th. The snacks and pizza hit the spot. Karen, Matt, Victor, Stacey, Carol, Valarie, Donna & Frankie got together to finish making up the baskets. Valarie’s camera, a cannon was lost during this event. The SD card with the ACC pictures from the Renegades Car Show were in camera. Hopefully someone will return the card. (My apologies for not having everyone’s picture with their trophy.) Stuffing Goodie Bags for the Car Show ACC members met on Thursday, January 16th at 7:00 PM, at AutoNation to stuff goodie bags for, “Reflections in Glass” car show. A brief meeting was held an assessment of progress and needs of each committee was reviewed as well as the time everyone was to meet on the day of the car show.
