Projects undertaken include new pavement construction, both flexible and rigid, reconstruction and maintenance of existing pavements, renewal and upgrading of Airfield

Ground Lighting, terminal and aircraft hangar construction and refurbishment works. Most recently awarded contracts include an airside improvement project at Nassau International Airport, Bahamas (Value US$35.5m) and a runway extension project at Wallblake International Airport, Anguilla, B.W.I. (Value US$12.5m). The Company also has considerable experience of undertaking projects through Design & Build contracts, as consortium members and as international partners to local contractors. Most importantly, however, Lagan has proven to be capable of delivering demanding, high specification, cost-targeted projects within budget and programme, often in remote and difficult environments.

London Luton International Airport

Construction of 3 Pack PQ concrete apron and link taxiline with associated civil engineering and AGL works.

Belfast International Airport

Upgrading of two of the existing taxiways, Charlie and Delta. The works entailed the resurfacing of both taxiways, approximately 40,000m2, with Marshall Asphalt wearing course and laying a total of 8,000 tonnes of asphalt and bitmac.
