Google Analytics/Adwords and BookMETM Google Analytics Google Analytics (GA) is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. (A premium version is also available for a fee.) GA can track visitors from all referrers, including search engines, display advertising, pay-per-click networks, e-mail marketing and digital collateral such as links within PDF documents. As such, GA is a service that helps you see how your website(s) are doing, and whether goals are being met. Goals might include sales, lead generation, viewing a specific page, or downloading a particular file.

If you sell products or services online, you can also use Google Analytics e-commerce reporting to track sales activity and performance.

If you use Google Analytics for your business, you can enter your Tracking ID into your BookME settings so you can track how many clients are using your online booking.

Signing up for Google Analytics 1. Using your Internet browser, navigate to http://google.com/analytics. Click on the Sign in link to sign in using your Gmail account (or click the Create an account button to create one).

Google AdWords Google AdWords (GAd) is Google's main advertising program. It offers pay-per-click, cost-per-thousandimpressions or cost-per-mile (CPM) advertising, as well as site-targeted advertising for text, banner, and rich-media ads. Unlike Google Analytics, AdWords is only available to paying customers. If you use Google AdWords for your business, you can also add Conversion Codes created in AdWords to your BookME settings. This shows you what happens after a customer finishes booking a service online with you whether they simply left your website, purchased some products, or even booked in for another service.
