BEFORE YOU GET STARTED What you have in front of you is totally unique. This is not a book filled with generalized recommendations that you’ve probably heard of before, nor is it a generic book about hormones or some system of your body without any respect for the other systems of your body. Instead, this book is about you. In fact, the only way you could get more personalized information is to have a one‐on‐one consultation with us. It contains insights and recommendations that are as closely tailored to you and your specific needs as we could possibly put into a book. This book is different from other books because not only does it allow you to determine which systems in you might be causing you to have a difficult time getting the health and fitness goals you’re looking for, but it uses tried and true physiological principles that we’ve found to be helpful in hundreds of women that we’ve personally worked with. There are no fads or gimmicks here, just solid and science‐based answers that you’ve been looking for. Think about all of the amazing before‐and‐after photos people take after completing a fitness program. They are inspirational but can also be frustrating if you’re not getting the same kind of results. We’re here to tell you that those people aren’t necessarily the ones that work harder or have better genetics. Sure, you have to put in the effort and dedication necessary to get those kind of results but if you’re not getting the results you’re after, maybe it’s not you, maybe it’s your physiology. Many of us are looking for a quick fix. But let’s be honest, they don’t really exist. There is no quick and easy way to lose fat, build muscle, have a happy relationship, or be a great parent. The best things in life come with work and effort. That’s what we’re asking of you. If you’re a woman having a difficult time losing weight and getting the body you want despite doing all the right things with diet and exercise, this is what you’ve been looking for. Despite how much you’re looking for answers, we don’t you want to start reading the book. Not yet. First, we ask that you print out and complete the Fat Loss Blockers Assessment form right away. Seriously. Don’t start reading the text first as it might bias your answers. If you truly want to find out why you are struggling to lose weight, complete the Fat Loss Blockers Assessment first. ©2016 Sagi Kalev & Dr. Bryan P. Walsh http://sagikalev.com/7‐reasons/

Then once you’ve completed the Fat Loss Blockers Assessment form, read through the Fat Loss Blocker Interpretation Guide to get a better idea of where your particular issues lie, potentially stopping you from getting the results you deserve. Finally, read through the specific sections that relate to your score on the Fat Loss Blockers Assessment form to learn more about these systems and process that may be sabotaging your fat loss efforts as well as strategies you can take to help correct them. Obviously you can read through the entire book and recommend you do so, as there is a lot of great information contained in each section. And everyone should read Section Seven of the book, “Mindset: Thinking Your Way Lean”, as it is relevant to each of us. In each section, you’ll not only get an explanation of how your physiology might be working against your ability to get the body you want, but strategies that you can undertake to correct physiological imbalances and get you on the road to achieving the body you want. Strategies include everything from dietary suggestions, laboratory testing and nutritional supplementation. All specifically designed to help balance your physiology to give you the best chance of changing your body using your current diet and exercise

7 Reasons You’re Not Getting the Results She Is
INTRODUCTION
Ladies, you’re not like men, not emotionally and not physiologically. Thank goodness for that and what a blessing for us men. According to science, men and women are neurologically different. For example, men can’t multitask to save their life, and women do it all day long. Men say a color is purple, women say the same color is lavender, violet, lilac, plum, eggplant, or wine and roses. You have better peripheral vision than us, engage in more complex communication styles, and can pick up on subtle nonverbal cues far better than we do. Our physiology is equally different. Men’s hormones are pretty straight forward. Women’s are a delicate and symphonic interplay of multiple different factors taking an entire month to play out. Because of this, if your hormones are out of balance, not only can weight loss be difficult, but a host of other unpleasant symptoms often accompany them. But hormones are just one reason you may be struggling to lose weight. There are many others, which is the whole point of this book.
“
This book is for women who follow a good diet and exercise program – and give it their best effort – but are still having a hard time losing fat.
”
Getting the body you want takes work. You have to exercise and eat well to make that happen. But you shouldn’t be killing yourself at the gym or starving yourself at the dinner table. If you are, then something’s not right. You shouldn’t have to work that hard to achieve and keep the physique you’re looking for. If you’re a woman who is doing all the right things – exercising and eating right – but not getting results, this is the book you’ve been waiting for. But if you are sitting around eating Ben & Jerry’s while watching reruns of Dancing With the Stars even just a couple of times a week, then you may need to make some changes. (Don’t get us wrong though, there’s something to be said about comfort foods and relaxation, but only every once in a while.) ©2016 Sagi Kalev & Dr. Bryan P. Walsh http://sagikalev.com/7‐reasons/

Getting the physique you desire takes work; eating right, exercising well, getting enough sleep. These are all prerequisites to looking and feeling the way you want. And yes, genetics plays a role as well, but it is not an excuse. This book is for you if you’re following a good diet and exercise program ‐ and giving it your best effort ‐ but are still having a hard time losing fat. A hard working and dedicated woman that for all intents and purposes should be losing fat on your program, but aren’t, and are wondering why other women seem to be getting great results. Losing fat should not be that hard. After all, we’re constantly told that all we need for fat loss is diet and exercise. If that doesn’t work then we simply need to diet more and exercise harder, right? Wrong. What we’re about to say could be repeated a hundred times and it would still not be enough. It is the missing link in the diet and exercise industry today: How well your physiology works on the inside dictates the response your body gets from diet and exercise on the outside.
“
How well your physiology works on the inside dictates the response your body gets from diet and exercise on the outside.
”
Let’s give you an example. Imagine two female identical twins, twenty‐five years old. They live together, work together, eat together and even workout together. They do everything exactly the same. But one has an issue with her thyroid hormone. She will have a harder time getting results on the exact same program as her sister, despite doing everything the same. A good physique does takes effort. It takes diligent dieting and consistent, vigorous exercise. These tools are necessary for fat loss and for getting the body you’ve always wanted. But what happens when you are following a good diet and exercise program and you aren’t getting results? It’s probably not your program, it’s your physiology.
What Happens When Your Garden Stops Growing? Letʹs say you decided to take up gardening. We all know that the two things necessary for a plant to grow are sunshine and water. So you go down to the local nursery, buy a couple of plants and start taking care of them. But after a few weeks, they donʹt grow. You give the plants a little more sunshine and extra water, but they still donʹt grow. So you decide to bring them indoors so they get less sunshine and less water, and they still don’t grow. At some point hopefully you’ll realize it’s not the amount of sunshine and water they are getting, it is the soil. Yes, sunshine and water are required for a plant to grow, but it is the soil that dictates how well the sunshine and water will work. Unhealthy soil leads to an unhealthy plant, no matter how much sunshine and water it gets. The same is true for us. Diet and exercise are necessary for fat loss, but it is our soil, our physiology, that dictates how well diet and exercise will work for us. You can diet and exercise all you want, but if your physiology isn’t working properly, you won’t lose fat.
The Missing Link: Where the Diet and Exercise Industry Is Wrong This concept that your physiology dictates your response to diet and exercise is deceptively simple, but it is also incredibly true. Countless numbers of nutrition and fitness gurus tell us that in order to lose fat, all we need is diet and exercise. But they are only partly right. While it is true, diet and exercise are important if we want to lose fat, the results you get are directly related to your physiology. However, diet and exercise are not enough to correct underlying physiological imbalances. For example, most people cannot correct a thyroid dysfunction simply by exercising, nor can someone eat a certain food that will automatically balance their hormones. Physiology is far more complex than that and, with all the stressors of today’s modern society, diet and exercise are simply not enough. Today we need to do more. ©2016 Sagi Kalev & Dr. Bryan P. It Might Not Be Your Fault If you’ve tried fat loss programs in the past, but failed to achieve the results you were looking for, it’s probably not your fault. If you weren’t getting results and ultimately gave up, we don’t blame you. Why would you keep doing the same thing over and over if you weren’t getting results? This book will show you seven physiological reasons that you aren’t losing fat. In fact, this is probably the most honest and comprehensive fat loss information you have read in a long time.
“
This book will show you seven physiological reasons that you aren’t losing fat. In fact, this is probably the most honest and comprehensive fat loss information you have read in a long time.
”
If you have tried a fat loss program in the past and had either limited success, or zero success, this information is what you have been looking for. Despite what fitness and nutrition gurus have been telling you, fat loss is more than just diet and exercise. A healthy body does not have a hard time losing weight. In fact, a healthy body is rarely overweight to begin with. The problem with the vast majority of fat loss programs today is that they focus entirely on diet and exercise, and not on physiology. As you will see, if your physiology is not working correctly, it can practically stop fat loss in its tracks. You, and only you, are responsible for your health. It is our sincere hope that once equipped with the proper information, you will be able to make choices that will forever change your health for the better, giving you the body you’ve always wanted.
