TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS AUTOMATIC PROCESS MANAGEMENT (patented)

The first automatically machine built to adapt to variations in production and process conditions, by self adjustable cooking and cooling cycle times. Examples: •- Variations in quantity of material; •- Variations in type of material (from PE to PP, etc.); •- Variations in moulding temperature; •- Cold oven/hot oven (first moulding, morning/evening, summer/winter); •- Morning/evening, summer/winter cooling, air/water air. It is no longer necessary to rely on the operator’s experience or costly cycle testing processes; simply enter a few simple parameters once and for all and the machine sort itself out! 7th Annual Nordic ARM Conference - Tampere, Finland - 5/6 February 2014

ALL THIS IS AN OLD HISTORY,,,TAKE A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE 1 – Energy recycling RE - GEN 2 – ECO - MODE 3 – New oven’s concept 4 – UFD Upper Duct Fan
5 – Noise reduction system on cooling fans 6 – Data process monitoring

7th Annual Nordic ARM Conference - Tampere, Finland - 5/6 February 2014

!20

Energy recycling RE - GEN What if we could re-use a part of the energy absorbed and if any use the surplus to light the building?

The recovered energy gained by the deceleration of the motors is used to power the other system components and motors.

7th Annual Nordic ARM Conference - Tampere, Finland - 5/6 February 2014

!21

ECO - MODE What if we could stop the burner when the oven is empty without losing too much temperature and then waste time and energy for the next cycle?

A full digital burner, an optimal insulation of the chamber together with new concept of the heating fan restore the temperature set in only 5 minutes

While the burner is off, the temperature falls only for the 5%. The management software turns off the fan when the doors are open and control the gas supply to the burner Much heat goes out form the oven together with the exhaust fumes. What if we can reduce this waste thus protecting the environment? When the burner is off the exhaust fumes fan works at minimum and the heat dispersion through the chemney is very little. And the machine makes all this by itself. Thermocouple inside the moulds send real time data to the software which adapts cycle time accordingly 7th Annual Nordic ARM Conference - Tampere, Finland - 5/6 February 2014

NEW OVEN’S CONCEPT

!

Two is better than one!Instead of 1 big fan two turbines driven by inverter.

! Quick STOP of the fans! !

Huge reduction of hot air wasted out of the doors

!

Minimum decrease of temperature (20-30°)

!

Fast reach of moulding temperature set.

!

Big recycled energy production by the strong deceleration of the fans

!23

UFD (UPPER FAN DUCT) Inside the oven the air before returning to the heating fan passes through and additional circuit.

With this innovation we have two point of heating, the main connected to the burner and a second one located on the ceiling.

Two heating points means increased heating capacity with the same energy consumption.

Another advantage is to have the heating on both sides of the mould. With the automatic process management you can see the changes in the cycle time and the positive impact on the curves of the graph. This is good for the quality too! Homogeneus heating means better distribution of the material.

7th Annual Nordic ARM Conference - Tampere, Finland - 5/6 February 2014

!24

DATA PROCESS MONITORING What's happening inside the oven? We have 6 thermocouples placed in strategic corners inside the oven to check the efficiency of the heating Real time picture of the situation after intervention on blades angle adjustments or changes in temperature sets. And the burner. It's doing good? Every 10 seconds the monitor displays gas consumption and Kw absorption Data can be organized per cycle, per arm, per shift, per Kilo of product, per hour/day/month We all are living in the communication-era. Our machine too! What you see on the display of the machine can be viewed on remote PC, tablet and smartphone. 7th Annual Nordic ARM Conference - Tampere, Finland - 5/6 February 2014
