5th International Summit on Advanced Cardiac Care Dear Colleague,

Under the auspicies of

It’s our pleasure to invite you to the 5th International Summit on Advanced Cardiac Care which will take place in Verona from 8 to 9 October 2009. A better understanding of the pathophysiology of acute manifestation of coronary heart disease the development and the availability of newer pharmacologic agents and the impressive improvements of the interventional techniques aimed to limit the ischemic damage in the short term and to maintain the favorable effects on long term, have largely contributed to the improved outcome of the patients. The Summit has the purpose to promote the sharing of new information on topics related to acute coronary syndromes and ischemic heart failure, and to stimulate exchange of ideas and of experiences, through the participation of world experts in the field.

General Information CME CREDITS The request for accreditation of the 5th International Summit on Acute Cardiac Care will be submitted for CME credits. AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT Congress halls will be equipped with computer projection (Power Point presentation). Presentation should be delivered to the audiovisual center 3 hours before the start of the Session. Use of personal computer is not allowed. BADGES The official badge must be worn for admission to all scientific sessions and other activities of the Summit. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE A Certificate of Attendance will be issued by the Conference Secretariat, at the end of the Congress works, to all registered delegates upon request. CHANGES OF PROGRAM The scientific committee and the organizing secretariat reserve the right to make any change to the Congress program which might be necessary for scientific and/or technical reasons. CONGRESS VENUE Palazzo della Gran Guardia - Verona SECRETARIAT The service of the conference secretariat will be available to participants from 8.00 a.m. of October 8th and for the entire length of the summit works, with the same time schedule.

How to reach the congress From Airport Verona’s airport (Villafranca) is situated approximately 10 km S-W from the city centre. There is a shuttle-bus service to and from the airport every 20 minutes. From P.ta Nuova railway station The main railway station is “Verona Porta Nuova” at the crossing of railways Milan-Venice and Rome-Brenner.
