Reservations can be made with SuperShuttle (703-416-2661), with rates approximately $18 from DCA and $45 from IAD and BWI. Taxis are approximately $25 one way for DCA and $70 one way for IAD and BWI. (All rates are subject to change.)

Payment Policies, Fees, and Confirmation Notice All fees are in U.S. dollars. Registrations will be processed only when accompanied with a full payment. If a check is returned by the bank for insufficient funds, full payment must include an additional $30 for bank processing charges and must be paid with a cashier’s check, money order, or credit card. If payment is not received by the Pediatric Nursing Conference prior to the meeting, you must pay the full amount onsite. If you do not receive registration confirmation one week prior to the meeting, contact us at [email protected] or 856-256-2341. Purchase orders are not acceptable as payment. Cancellations and substitutions must be requested in writing. We will be happy to refund your registration fee, less a $75 administration fee, if postmarked prior to July 10, 2014. No refunds will be made thereafter. All other monies will be returned to the party who originally issued payment. If you are unable to attend, a substitution may be made. If the substitute is not a Pediatric Nursing journal subscriber, additional fees may apply. Subscriptions to Pediatric Nursing are non-refundable.

In the event Pediatric Nursing should find it necessary to cancel or postpone this conference for any reason including, but not limited to, registration responses, strikes, or acts of God, Pediatric Nursing will not be liable for registrants’ expenses. However the cancellation/postponement is ultimately resolved, Pediatric Nursing will act responsibly to protect subscribers’ and registrants’ investment in the conference.

Guest Registration Due to the substantial increases in the cost of food and beverages served by hotels, all nonregistrants who desire to attend functions where food and beverages are served, such as the Exhibit Hall, during the Pediatric Nursing Conference must display a “Guest” Badge, which may be purchased for $100 per guest. Guest Badges are non-transferable and only may be purchased by paid attendees who agree to accept responsibility for each guest. Guests may not attend or visit educational sessions, including sponsored food events. Guests must be accompanied by the paid registrant while visiting the Exhibit Hall during the listed open times.

Weather The weather in National Harbor will be warm with an average temperature in the high 80s. Be sure to pack a sweater or wear layers in the air-conditioned rooms.

Photo Release A photographer will be taking photos of conference attendees. These photos are for Pediatric Nursing use only and may appear on the Pediatric Nursing website, in Pediatric Nursing Journal, and in future Pediatric Nursing Conference brochures and other promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to the usage of your likeness in such media.
