NAHREP San Antonio Chapter - 2016 My Personal Pledge & Commitment Statement Name: 1)

I pledge to continually strive and remain informed on issues affecting the Hispanic Real Estate consumer and as a knowledgeable professional, willingly share the fruit of experience and study to increase the rate of homeownership among Hispanics, increase the NAHREP San Antonio Chapter membership, help educate, strengthen and promote home ownership for the Hispanic Community and homeownership with all who desire the American Dream of homeownership. 2) I pledge to contribute a minimum of 10 hours per month to the San Antonio NAHREP Chapter. This includes and not limited to membership growth, committee involvement, event participation, promotion and support. 3) I pledge to protect and promote the interest of the San Antonio NAHREP Chapter Membership and to treat all future members ethically and with honesty. 4) I pledge to take steps to recruit and add a minimum of 5 paid me mb e rs per year and 1 corporate sponsor per calendar year. 5) I pledge to diligently work toward recruiting a sponsor to donate a minimum of $2,500.00 to the San Antonio NAHREP Chapter. 6) I pledge to attend monthly Board meetings for the office term. Any Director, except the immediate Past President of the Affiliate Chapter, who shall be absent from two consecutive regular Board of Directors meetings shall automatically forfeit their office. The Board of Director, upon written explanation for such absence, may waive this provision. 7) I pledge to attend monthly Committee meetings for the office term. Any Chair, Vice Chair or Committee member who shall be absent from two consecutive regular committee meetings shall automatically forfeit their duties. The Board of Director, upon written explanation for such absence, may waive this provision. 8) I pledge to be punctual at all scheduled San Antonio NAHREP Chapter meetings. I further agree to schedule ample travel time for schedule meetings. Should I arrive 5 minutes late to any scheduled meeting, I agree to donate $5.00 t o the San Antonio NAHREP Chapter Treasury at said meeting. 9) I agree to place my cell phone on vibrate at any NAHREP San Antonio Chapter Board or Committee meeting. 10) I pledge to respect my fellow members of the San Antonio NAHREP Chapter and always c o n d u c t myself in a polite and considerate manor. Additionally, I agree to abide by the Robert’s Rule of order and wait to be recognized by the presiding Officer, hereby known as Chair, before speaking. I promise to adhere to the NAHREP San Antonio Chapter Bylaws and to uphold and execute my pledge and to the best of my ability.
