Day 2: Athens Welcome to Greece. On arrival in Athens your will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Athens has been the center of Greek civilization for some 4,000 years. The capital of modern Greece, it’s still dominated by 5th-century-B.C.E. landmarks, including the Acropolis, a hilltop citadel topped with ancient buildings such as the colonnaded Parthenon temple.

Optional Tour: A Night out in Athens - Your evening tour begins with a drive through the city, with opportunities to photograph the illuminated Acropolis. Continue with a pleasant guided walk through the narrow streets of the old Plaka district. Your evening ends at a typical Athenian tavern for dinner and live music. Transfers to and from hotel to meeting point not included. Day 3: Athens (B,D) Today, your expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library and Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis, visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the

monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum. Tonight enjoy a welcome Dinner at a local restaurant to get to know to rest of your group. Day 4: Athens -

- Mykonos (B)

After breakfast you’ll be Transferred to the port of Piraeus to catch the high speed ferry to Mykonos. In Greek mythology, Mykonos was named after its first ruler, Mykons, the son or grandson of the god Apollo and a local hero. The island is also said to have been the location of a great battle between Zeus and Titans and where Hercules killed the invincible giants having lured them from the protection of Mount Olympus. On arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of Mykonos Town to learn about this popular Greek island before having time to relax and enjoy this beachside town. Day 5: Mykonos (B) Enjoy a day of leisure on magical Mykonos to do as little or as much as you like. Optional Tour – Ancient Delos – Only 45 minutes by boat from Mykonos, the island of Delos is one of the most important mythological, historical and archaeological sites in Greece. Inhabited between 2500 and 69 BC, Delos boast many treasures such as the ancient marketplace, the famous terrace of the Naxos Lions, the house of Dolphins and a wonderful amphitheatre. Transfers to and from hotel to meeting point not included. OR Optional Tour – South Coast Cruise – Cruse the stunning south coast of Mykonos, stopping to swin and snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the protected Frangias Bay and enjoy an aperitif on the beach. Continue to Kalafatis for lunch in a beautiful seaside restaurant, followed by time to relax. Reboard you craft and sail on to the very lively Paradise Beach, where you can join the party or have a cooling swim. Transfers to and from hotel to meeting point not included.

Day 6: Mykonos -

- Paros (B)

This morning leave Mykonos behind you as you are transferred to the pier to board the high speed ferry to Paros. Paros seems like a world away from the lively atmosphere of Mykonos, with traditional villages and Greek way of life. The Parian, particularly Naoussa, Parikia and Lefkes, are perfect samples of Cycladic architecture, with whitewashed sugar houses, paved streets and blue-domed churches. The beaches are famous for the exotic water and the golden sand. This afternoon enjoy and guided walking tour of Parikia and Naoussa, both scenic fishing villages with lovely pristine beaches. Day 7: Paros (B) Spend the day exploring this picturesque island at your own pace. Day 8: Paros -

- Santorini (B)

Today, transfer to the pier to board your high speed ferry to Santorini. Santorini may well have conquered a corner of your imagination before you’ve even set eyes on it. With multicoloured cliffs soaring over 300m from a sea-drowned caldera, it rests in the middle of the indigo Aegean. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape and villages. On arrival explore this postcard island at your own pace or watch the sun go down over the beautiful caldera. Day 9: Santorini (B) Today, your guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the island visiting the most significant places of Santorini. The excavations of Akrotiri, Perivolos beach, Megalochori and the village Prophet Ilias Monastery. Finish off and incredible day with a visit to a local winery for wine tasting. After, return to your hotel where to rest of the afternoon is at leisure to soak up island life. Spend the rest of your time discovering Santorini and its famous sunsets which the island is justifiably famous. They are spectacular from anywhere on the caldera but particularly from Oia on the northern tip of the island.

Day 10: Santorini (B) Enjoy a day of leisure on Santorini to relax in cliff-top restaurants and laze on sun-soaked beaches. Optional Tour: Volcano, Hot Springs, Thirassia & Oia by Boat—Board a traditional wooden boat for an unforgettable sailing trip. First stop is the volcano, where you can soak in the hot springs before cruising over the submerged crater. Continue to the small island of Thirassia and enjoy some free time for lunch, a swim and a visit to the village of Manola. Finish in Oia with a climb to the village to witness the spectacular sunset before returning to Fira. Transfers to and from hotel to meeting point not included. Day 11: Santorini -

Today enjoy a leisurely morning before being transferred to the port and catch the high speed ferry back to Athens. On arrival into Athens you will be transferred to your hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisure. Day 12: Athens -

This morning the ship is ported in the seaside resort of Kusadasi, the gateway to the ruins of ancient Ephesus, a magnificent regional capital of Imperial Rome. Closer to port, explore sights like a Venetian-Byzantine castle, an Ottoman mosque and a Turkish old town. Its excavated remains reflect centuries of history, from classical Greece to the Roman Empire – when it was the Mediterranean’s main commercial centre. Day 16: Santorini
