Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – Last Night of the Proms

Let’s Hang On returns to take you on a musical journey through the history of one of the most successful bands of all time – Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons!

Anton Benson Productions Presents You’re Never Too Old

Widely regarded as the first ever “Tribute” show back in 1989

When Tommy and Ada meet on a park bench it is all too clear they are from very different backgrounds, but as they begin to confide secrets and recount memories, could this be the start of something special for such an unlikely pair?

Phil Aldridge’s lavish arrangements, stunning vocal harmonies and Claire Furley’s uncanny representation of Karen Carpenter combine to bring back memories of pop’s most melodic duo.

Prepare for an electric atmosphere and don’t be surprised to find yourself on your feet and dancing before the night is over!!

Carmen

Showaddywaddy

Charlie has played all over the world and is one of the biggest selling artists in Irish music history. His reputation continues to grow and he has won numerous country music awards, including, Best Male Vocalist at the British Country Music Association Awards three years in a row. Most of his 25 albums reached the No. 1 spot and he is well on his way to selling 2 million songs, resulting in a British Country Music Hall of Fame induction. His work has been covered by Jack Jones, Pat Boone and Foster and Allen, to name just a few.

Opera & Ballet International proudly presents an Ellen Kent production with international soloists, highly praised chorus and full orchestra.

Roy Chubby Browns Don’t Get Fit Get Fat LIVE

One of the most famous and seductive operas of all time, Bizet’s irresistibly emotional Carmen guarantees an evening of passion and romance, this dazzling production features Bizet’s unforgettable melodies including the best known baritone aria of all, The Toreador’s Song. Carmen also includes a replica of Seville’s main square with fountains, flowers and orange trees “Impassioned and sultry” The Observer “Hot-blooded, a joy” The Independent Sung in French with English surtitles

Roy Chubby Brown returns with his meatiest show yet! He’s still rude, he’s still crude and this time he’s turning headlines into punch lines as his rip-roaring brand of banter continues to burst bellies across the country. Chubby doesn’t hold back from sharing his outlandish views on news, women and gender, sailing so close to the mark, even the most seasoned of fans will be left gob-smacked! As politically incorrect as ever ‘The World’s Most Outrageous Comedian’ is far too rude for TV, so this live performance is the only place to catch the flamboyant comedian!

‘The Greatest Rock & Roll Band In The World’ is a bold statement but Showaddywaddy has lived up to that title as they recently celebrated their 40th anniversary. Formed in the 1970s in Leicester from several local bands, they have sold more than 20 million records and have toured the world. Their live show is dynamic and uplifting featuring all of their biggest hits, many of which reached number one in the pop charts of Europe. ‘Under The Moon of Love’, ‘Three Steps to Heaven’, ‘Hey Rock & Roll’, ‘When’, ‘Blue Moon’, ‘Pretty Little Angel Eyes’ and many, many more. So come and join the ‘Dancing Party’… ‘You’ve Got What It Takes’!

Legends of Irish music & song The FUREYS, renowned for their hit songs ‘I will love you’, ‘When you were sweet 16’, ‘The Green fields of France’, ‘The old man’, ‘Red rose café’, ‘From Clare to here’, ‘Her father didn’t like me anyway’, ‘Leaving Nancy’, ‘Steal away’ etc return to the Marina Theatre on their 2016 tour. The band was formed in 1978 literally by accident. George, Paul and Davey were playing in Denmark with their own band called the Buskers and Eddie and Finbar, while touring in Germany were involved in a road accident. When George and Paul got news of the accident they immediately travelled to Germany to be with their brothers. They then decided that they should all be playing together and this was the start of the FUREYS.

Hilarious comedy Dirty Dusting returns to the PLAYHOUSE in May 2016, after the success of this year’s sell out show. There’s nothing like a feel-good comedy to put a smile on your face, and that’s exactly what Dirty Dusting is here to do, as PLAYHOUSE welcomes an all-star cast to the PLAYHOUSE stage, once more. The outrageous but lovable Liverpudlian Crissy Rock (ITV’s Benidorm, I’m A Celebrity 2011) is at the helm, of the production alongside local girl Leah Bell and Dolores Poretta, actress of stage and screen. This stellar line up ensures Dirty Dusting is to be a night of heartwarming, feel-good comedy, yet again.

Sister Act The Multi-Winning Lowestoft Players make a welcome return to the Marina Theatre Based on the hit 1992 Whoopie Goldburg film, this ‘fabulous’ musical comedy tells the hilarious story of Deloris van Cartier, a wannabe diva. Her life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent!

The show is investigational and for the purpose of entertainment.
