Preparation before flight  Please read the related manuals for flight controllers, Gimbal, RTF etc.  Please finish the adjustment of the copter before flight (Refer to the related manual on how to adjust).  Please connect to the GCS before flight,all the data on the GCS should be normal an d ask a specialist to check them during flight.  Please practice in an empty place, suggest you fly in an appropriative place.  Please make sure the copter within your vision while flying and let it not over-close to you.  Please operate the RC stick in a soft way, not in a violent way. During the flight, do not try to push the throttle stick to the top or pull to the bottom.  Please do not fly under bad environments.  Please do not do any operation if you are drunk, fatigue or in poor mental state.  Please abide by the local laws and regulations.  If the flight controller doesn’t support the function used in this manual, please skip the related parts.（We take The Gemini flight controller manual as an example）

 Please follow the manual strictly while operating. Try to put the throttle stick to the middle position and switch to manual mode (CH5 is in position 1) in case of emergency, practice land in manual mode.

Basic flight operation training Take off（climb）training： ① Keep LED light facing you，CH5 is in position 3，CH6 is in position 1 ② Unlock RC stick ③ Throttle over 50% ④ Throttle to 50% when the copter reaches at 3 meters high, keep the copter hovering，then finish the take off。（For each take off practice, please operate according to the take off step, if no explanations, please start practice with the attitude when each practice finished.）

Auto-hovering mode land(drop) practice： ① Keep the copter auto-hovering ② Pull the throttle stick in a slow way, keep the throttle stick still until landing while the copter dropping. ③ Pull throttle stick to the bottom quickly after copter landing, landing is finished when motors stop.

Land in manual mode training： ① After take off，keep the copter hovering；then switch CH5 to position 1, in manual mode . ② Reduce throttle slowly（copter will crash if throttle to bottom），keep the throttle stick still while the copter dropping. ③ Throttle to the bottom when the copter land to the ground.

Movement training in fixed altitude： ① Take off again，keep the throttle stick at 50%. ② Operate the aileron stick to practice let the copter move left/right. ③ And then operate the elevator stick to practice let the copter move forward/back. Last, move the copter above the take off position.

Direction control training： ① Keep hovering at throttle 50%. ② Operate the rudder stick to practice rotating the copter, please turn at least 1 circle clockwise and anticlockwise. Turn the copter and let the LED light face you, then practice finished.

Back and land training： ① Let the copter within 25 meters from the home point, the height should be no less than 5 meters. ② Switch CH6 to position 3 and wait to back and land.

Advanced flight operation training Comprehensive training 1： Keep

the throttle stick middle position,

control the copter to practice the flight of rectangle course, no height changes, the copter head always face to the movement direction, to finish a comprehensive practice of basic operations. Last, control the copter back to the take off point, let the LED light face you, practice finished.

Comprehensive training 2：Keep the throttle stick at middle, control the copter to practice the flight of rectangle course, height no changes, the copter should be turned 180 degree before turn a corner, to finish a comprehensive practice of basic operations, Last, control the copter back to the take off point, let the LED light faces you, practice finished.

Comprehensive training 3： Keep

the throttle stick middle position,

control the copter to practice the flight of circular course, height no changes, the head of the copter always face to the movement direction, to finish a comprehensive practice of basic operations. Last, control the copter back to the take off point, let the LED light faces you, practice finished.

Comprehensive training 4： Keep

the throttle stick middle position,

control the copter to practice the flight of 8 shape course, don’t change height, the head of the copter always face to the movement direction, to finish a comprehensive practice of basic operations. Last, control the copter back to the take off point, let the LED light face you, practice finished.

Automatic course flight training：Setup flight courses（please setup a rectangle course at near place），control the copter to take off and hovering, switch CH6 to position 2, click enable skyway and then click auto skyway on the GCS, wait the copter to fly to the first point and hovering, then change the goal point to 2, the copter will fly along the course. Switch CH6 to position 1 to quit the automatic flight mode.

Semi-automatic course flight training ： Control

the copter to

hovering after taking off, switch CH6 to position 2, click start course and then click semi-auto skyway on the GCS, push the elevator stick, then the copter fly along the course, loose the elevator stick, the copter will hovering. Switch CH6 to position 1 to quit the semi-automatic flight mode.

Semi-automatic course comprehensive training （ The aerial rocker mode circling）： ① Setup waypoint ② RTF system users equips with Zero Gemini AP should switch CH7 from 1 to 3 and back to 1, switch quickly 3 times, and then enter the single operation mode. ③ After taking off, switch CH6 to position 2, click start course and then semiautomatic course on the GCS, enter the single aerial rocker mode.

Select a reference object, push the elevator stick to let the copter move forward, control the rudder stick to let the head of the copter always face to the reference. Switch CH6 to position 1 to quit the aerial rocker mode.

Professional flight operation training FPV mode cruising training： ① Enter single operation mode（skip this part if entered already）, keep the CH6 position 1. ② Switch CH5 to 2 from 3, enter into the single auto-hovering FPV mode after 2 seconds.

Setup a goal point, operate the aileron stick to cruising, control the rudder stick to let the copter always face to the goal point, use the elevator sticks to control the distance from the goal point. Switch CH5 back to 3 and then quit the FPV mode.

Carefree mode cruising training： ① Enter single operation mode（skip this part if entered already） ② Keep CH6 is at position 1, switch CH5 from 3 to 2, after 2 seconds, switch CH5

back to 3 and then back to 2, thus enter the single carefree mode.

Operate the elevator and aileron sticks to control the copter to fly the circular course. Operate the rudder stick to change the flight direction, continue flying the circular course, to experience after change the head of the copter，the operation reference direction is still the same with which when entering into this mode. Switch CH5 to position 3 to quit the carefree mode.

Emergency flight operation training Fail safe land training 1：Let the copter within 25 meters from the home point ， close

the

remote

control,

wait

the

copter

to

back

and

land.

(do not close the transmitter without special case, same as following)

Fail safe land training 2：Copter should be more than 25 meters away home point and 3 meters high, close the remote control, back and land until copter climb to 20 meters high.

Regain the control right of the copter training（out of control back and land）：Let the copter within 25 meters from the home point,

close

the

remote

control,

wait

the

copter

to

back

and

land.

Before landing, open the transmitter, leave the throttle in the middle position (confirm that throttle position on GCS moves synchronously), switch CH5 to position 1, get control right of copter back.

Regain the control right of the copter training（Back and land）： copter

should be less than 25 meters away home point，CH6 switch to

position 3，wait the copter to back and land，before landing, put the throttle stick at middle, CH5 switch to position 1, thus regain the control right.
