fter living and working in the Ashford district for a number of years, Roberta Thompson realised that young people in our district did not have access to affordable marriage celebrant services. A course became available locally though the Inverell Community College, and she was able to enrol. “After the lengthy process of gaining registration, I have been fortunate enough to conduct a number of weddings and naming ceremonies throughout the Ashford district and interstate,” Roberta said. “My intention is never to take away the spiritual significance of marriage and officially welcoming young people into our world and families.” Rather, it is to provide a happy, moving and meaningful ceremony for all to enjoy and remember.” Inquiries are most welcome.
