Over the past thirty years, PwC has accumulated great amount of experience after successful EAM/ ERP implementation for nuclear plants all around the world, especially in Europe and U.S. With the experience, we have established a wealth of global technology, knowledge and assets, which can be brought to China, to support the development of Chinese nuclear plants. These assets include our EAM / ERP solution. For example, in China, PwC has successfully applied the EAM/ERP solution in one of China Guangdong Nuclear

Power Corporation, Daya Bay Nuclear plant, and is helping other plants of CGNPC apply our EAM/ ERP solution, and personalizing design and configuration according to customized demands. Because of the vertical integration of the Chinese nuclear industry, constructors and operators are in a better position to enable integration across the design and through the operational stages of the asset lifecycle. There are substantial advantages to the asset owner/operator to managing the full asset life-cycle and ensuring continuity of data from design-build to operating phase.

Plant owner operators should strive to:

Track and confirm testing and as-built documentation through turnover

Manage these as a single source of accurate asset data information and status linking the design, construction, commissioning/turnover, operation, maintenance, and financial processes

Ensure a comprehensive set of processes related to asset (plant equipment and tools) data, resource data (employees, spare parts, tools) and referential integrity enforcement

Obtain accurate, complete and consistent plant data from EPC entities in a format consistent for O&M

These goals are best achieved by an integrated, full lifecycle ERP/EAM strategy.
