Your Guide to Your New Site Congratulations on obtaining a position on the Graduate Leadership Programme at Morgan Advanced Materials. We are sure that you are both excited and nervous to start and you probably have some questions about where you will be working, so here’s a little guide to make everything a little clearer.

GRADUATE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME (GLP) KEY BENEFITS • Challenging roles designed to enhance your skills throughout the year programme • Extensive training and mentoring support • The opportunity to make a real difference in the organisation • Potential for overseas placements at one of our 90+ sites • An attractive starting salary and performance bonus

THE LUXEMBOURG SITE The Seals and Bearings business of Morgan Advanced Materials specialises in the development and manufacturing of seals and bearings from a portfolio of materials including; carbon, graphite, alumina and zirconia. There are a number of Seals and Bearings sites situated around the globe, providing products for hi-tech markets such as healthcare, industrial, petrochemical and transportation.

What to expect on your first day On your first day you will meet your new team and be shown around your department. You will also be given a full introduction to the company, which will include a site tour, spending time in the factory, and inductions with HR, IT and EH&S (Environmental, Health and Safety). During the week your manager will run through what is expected of you throughout the year, go into more details about the projects you will be working on and will set your objectives.

Dress Code: Day-to-day the dress code is business casual - this means smart trousers and a shirt/jumper for gents (not suit and tie) and smart trousers/skirt for ladies (again not a suit). If you are attending a meeting or presenting then check with your line manager if you need to wear more formal attire.
