In Greater Nagoya where numerous famous Samurai have been born including Nobunaga Oda, traditional culture and natural heritage are carefully-protected and fostered. Among others World Heritage site of Shirakawa Village and Ise Shrine which was conducted Shikinen Sengu (reconstruction) Ceremony in 2013, rich history lies in this area.

Seasonal landscapes and rich nature such as Korankei, the beautiful sight of over 4000 colorful maple trees in fall, and Shin-Hotaka ropeway with the closest landscape of Northern Alps. Those natural mountains and valleys are just a little side trip from the center of Nagoya city.
