GRK MANUFACTURING COMPANY HISTORY GRK Manufacturing is the oldest piano bench manufacturer in the United States. The story begins in 1915 when two manual arts teachers opened shop as the Manual Arts Furniture Company (MAFCO) and began making benches for the Baldwin Piano Company. By the 1960’s MAFCO had grown to the the premier supplier of after market benches and piano accessories. The company was revitalized (and renamed GRK Manufacturing) in 1988 when it was purchased by Gary Kilday, a former P&G executive with an extensive manufacturing background. In 2011, Kilday handed day-to-day leadership to GRK General Manager and 15 year GRK veteran, Eric Roeseler.
