The Women’s United States Basketball Association (WUSBA) and The Women’s United States Basketball  Association Youth Outreach (WUSBA Youth Outreach) has joined forces with Feeding America, Inc., and the U.S.M.C. Toys for Tots Holiday toy campaign to play great basketball collect toys and to stamp out hunger at  the same time. The WUSBA, the WUSBA Youth Outreach and their   advertisers and sponsors will offer a very  special promotion during the WUSBA 2012 Can Slam – Toy Fest Basketball Game. The WUSBA will sponsor a series of basketball games at old Norcross High School (Give West) located at 2595 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, Georgia, called the WUSBA Can Slam–Toy Fest Extravaganza on December 2, December 9 and December 16, 2012 that will spear an effort to collect toys for deserving children. The entry fee to the game will be $5.00 plus one unwrapped toy or ten cans of food or a $5.00 donation, which will be turned over to the marines and the local food banks for distribution to the kids and local families. The games are open to the public. The promotion is called The 2012 WUSBA Can Slam–Toy Fest Extravaganza.  The special raffle drawing will offer prize to the fans that attend the game. The WUSBA 2012 Can Slam-Toy Fest Basketball Games are designed to collect toys for the U.S.M.C. Toys for Tots Holiday toy campaign and to collect food items for the Norcross Cooperative Ministry. The Norcross Cooperative Ministry is a Feeding America affiliate. The marines and representatives from the local food bank will be on hand at all game to head up the collection process. The collection efforts will be conducted during the WUSBA regular season basketball games on these dates. The WUSBA has set aside 2000 single game tickets per game for this special promotion. Each fan who  purchases an adult ticket and bring ten can goods of food or a new unwrapped toy or a $5.00 donation will receive a raffle ticket for the drawing, free sandwich, bag of chips or popcorn, a candy bar and a small drink and a free guest ticket to a future 2012-13 WUSBA Winter Basketball regular season game. All participants should come at 1:00 pm for lunch and orientation. 2:00 pm – Game One

The WUSBA 2012 Can Slam-Toy Fest Basketball Game will tip off at 2:00 pm. The roster and names of the teams will be announcing in the very near future. The game is held at Old Norcross High School 2595 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, Georgia (Give West Branch). Elite Girls A.A.U. Basketball Team vs. Elite Girls A.A.U. Basketball Team Churches, civic groups and fans of each team are invited to come and get autographs, take pictures with the teams and get to know the players who will be representing each individual city. A special invitation has been extended to the Boys and Girls Clubs as well as Big Brothers and Big Sisters organizations. '”We are also extending a very special invitation to  children in the foster care system in each city.' 3:15 am –Game Two

The WUSBA 2012 Can Slam-Toy Fest Basketball Game feature game will tip off at 6:30 pm. The team’s roster will be announced in the very near future. The game is held at Old Norcross High School 2595 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, Georgia (Give West Branch). The WUSBA will proudly present the Atlanta Platinum vs. the Charlotte Blue Wave. Churches, civic groups and fans of each team are invited to come and get autographs, take pictures with the teams and get to know the players who will be representing each individual city. A special invitation has been extended to the Boys and Girls Clubs as well as Big Brothers and Big Sisters organizations. '”We are also extending a very special invitation to  children in the foster care system in each city.'

The 2012 WUSBA Can Slam–Toy Fest Extravaganza.  The special raffle drawing will offer prizes to all fans that attend the game. Each purchaser of the single game ticket will be included in raffle drawing sponsored by  the the WUSBA Youth Outreach and its sponsors. The drawing for the Grand Prize will be held at the end of the Feature basketball game. Raffle prizes will be awarded to fans throughout all five games. The goal of the  league and our commitment to fight hunger and make a child smile, the WUSBA and the WUSBA Youth Outreach will attempt to collect 50,000 cans of food and 2500 toys during the three basketball games.

Each fan who purchases an adult ticket will receive a free sandwich, Soda Pop and Chips or popcorn a drink, a candy bar and a free guest pass to a future WUSBA Winter Basketball Game. We will have the local Norcross High School band members and a DJ to perform Tri pods will be displayed (Posters of Toyota, Discovery Cruise, Disney World, Schwinn Bicycle and all other sponsors. Give – A – Ways will include  WUSBA Single Game Tickets, Golden Corral Gift Cards, and Papa John’s Pizza Gift  Cards, AMC Movie Gifts Cards, Tee Shirts, Subway Gift Cards, and other gifts. Free helium balloons for the kids Free Face Painting Mascots will perform 400 WUSBA Tee Shirts will be tossed into the crowd Dance Team will be in attendance Can food drive and toy collection for the local food banks

Fans will be randomly selected from the stands to participate in fun filled games during the half time. Each game will produce prizes for each participant. Each contest will be sponsored by a vendor or advertiser of the Women’s United States Basketball Association. The WUSBA, the WUSBA Youth Outreach and their advertisers and sponsors will offer a very special promotion during the halftime of the 2012 WUSBA Can Slam –Toy Fest Basketball Games. The Women’s Untied States Basketball Association (WUSBA) will randomly select fans from the stands to receive these additional prizes. Each contest will be sponsored by a vendor or advertiser of the Women’s United States Basketball Association. Regular Single Ticket Prices for Adults will be $5.00. Student ticket prices (9 years old to 16 years) will be  $3.00. Senior Citizen ticket prices (67 years old and above) will be $3.00. Children 9 years old and under are admitted free. All students who produce a current year progress report with a 3.5 GPA or 87% (B+), will receive a sandwich, a bag of chips or a bag of popcorn, a candy bar and a small drink. (The 2012 WUSBA Can Slam–Toy Fest Extravaganza promotion is applicable to regular adult tickets only. For a limited time and during The 2012 WUSBA Can Slam-Toy Fest Extravaganza, all tickets sold will also receive a complimentary ticket to a WUSBA regular season game).

Rules and Disclaimer The purchase of a single game ticket to the WUSBA 2012 Can Slam –Toy Fest Basketball Game games necessary to be included in the raffle drawing. The WUSBA Youth Outreach, Inc. is the sponsor of this promotion. This promotion is open to all residents, who purchase a single game ticket during this promotion. The promotion will begin with each game in December 2 2012, December 9, 2012 and December 16, 2012. WUSBA employees, family member of WUSBA employees, team members, WUSBA 2012 Can Slam –Toy  Fest Basketball Game sponsors, their employees and their families are ineligible to participate in this  promotion. Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in this promotion.  One entry in raffle per  single game ticket purchased.  No other restrictions apply.  No substitution of prizes. Prizes are not refundable or transferable. Prize winners are responsible for all taxes and /or gratuity associated with prizes won in this promotion

The WUSBA will sponsor a series of basketball games at old Norcross High School (Give West) located at 2595 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, Georgia, called the WUSBA Can Slam-Toy Fest Basketball Games. The games will be held on December 2, December 9 and December 16, 2012. The following list of promotions will be conducted during halftime of all three features WUSBA 2012 Can Slam –Toy Fest Basketball Game s.

TOYOTA BE A PLAYER FOR A DAY Fans will have an opportunity to actually join a WUSBA team during the 2012-13 WUSBA Winter Basketball Season as a “Player for a Day”.  Twenty fans will be randomly drawn to be selected to participate in this half time event. The mascot will toss a bag of money somewhere on the basketball floor. The fans will be blind folded and placed on all fours. They will scurry around the basketball floor to try to capture the bag of money. The bag will contain $250.00. The fan who grabs the bag first will be the winner. The winner will also receive a complete team uniform, a full color poster with the team and the opportunity to be a teammate and sit on the bench with the team at a future WUSBA home basketball game. All participants will receive a $25.00 Visa gift card just for joining the fun and games. So lace up your sneakers and join the fun.
