Unique features 1 • Skin wafer The skin friendly and very flexible skin wafer is made of 100% hydrocolloid. It provides a secure fit, protects the skin and absorbs moisture efficiently. There is excellent balance between secure adhesion and comfortable removal. The skin wafer is available in pre-cut sizes or can easily be cut to the desired size using the cut-to fit version. 2 • Tissue The very soft, breathable and water resistant tissue is comfortable against the skin and prevents perspiration forming underneath the pouch. It dries very quickly after swimming or showering. The soft film layer has an excellent oxygen barrier, totally preventing odour transmission. 3 • Filter Our exceptionally good activated carbon filter provides a very long odour neutralising pathway and can cleanse large amounts of gas. This means the gas will be odour free when it leaves the filter. This filter also prevents ballooning of the ostomy pouch because it has good air flow; however, leakage through the filter is prevented by the protective inner layers of the pouch and the long odour neutralising pathway within the filter.

4 • Viewing window The ostomy pouch includes a viewing window which makes it possible to inspect the stoma as well as the output from the stoma. It is also very helpful when applying the pouch to make sure it is located correctly over the stoma. 5 • Integrated vent The integrated vent is a new and novel way to vent the pouch allowing air out or in, for instance in the case of a vacuum occurring. It can also be used for more effective cleansing by rinsing the pouch via the vent opening. 6 • Integrated velcro closure Ileostomy pouches can be securely closed by using a clamp or soft tie, both of which are provided. Our innovative range of ileostomy products also includes a pouch with an integrated velcro type closure to use instead of a clamp or ties, making the opening and closing of the pouch a much easier task. This strong integrated velcro type system can conveniently be closed by rolling up the outlet and securing the closure via the hook and loop velcro type pads attached to the film. Opening the pouch is equally as easy by disconnecting the two velcro type pads and unrolling the outlet. Additionally, at the base of the outlet is a plastic strip that acts as an opening aid, making it much easier to hold the pouch open when emptying.

7 • Flexible 2-piece ring system The reliable, secure, and solid ring system is very flexible which provides high comfort to the user. The pouches can be easily attached to the base plate. The floating ring ensures a very strong and flexible connection between the pouch and the base plate.

8 • Non-return valve Due to the non-return valve preventing the urine from flowing back towards the stoma, the risk of leakage is minimal even when lying down and comfort to the user is increased. The urine bag has an innerlayer: when the bag is upside down, the urine cannot flow back to the stoma.

9 • Urine tap The secure and user friendly urine tap can easily be connected to a night drainage bag or leg bag by using the extension connector provided in each box. This will suit all standard connectors. 10 • Convexity (soon available) The ZenSiv 2-piece Convex base plates are the answer to leakage problems with flush stomas or stomas located in a skinfold. Also retracted stomas can easily be managed by use of the convex shaped wafer of ZenSiv Convex, giving extra gentle pressure for a perfect seal. You can choose between either a full hydrocolloid or a hydrocolloid base plate with microporous plaster (dual adhesive) for enhanced adhesion. Both base plates are available in 50 mm ring size suitable for stomas up to 35 mm and 60 mm ring size for stomas up to 45 mm. 11 • Foam layer All ZenSiv hydrocolloid skin wafers are finished with a very soft foam backing. This soft and smooth foam layer makes the wafer and pouch very comfortable to wear. 12 • Packaging Our attractive packaging incorporates a robust box that will both store and protect the product and included in all packs is an Instruction for Use leaflet giving easy to follow pictorial information to the user.

ZenZipp All-In-One Wound Management System The traditional care for large, difficult to manage (high-output) wounds is time consuming and challenging for healthcare professionals and often very uncomfortable for patients. The ZenZipp All-In-One wound management system was developed in close cooperation with specialists, nurses and patients to improve this situation: A unique, complete and practical wound management system with countless advantages. ZenZipp All-In-One Wound Management System consists of a line of flexible and user-friendly wound managers in different sizes, suitable for every type of wound and every body type. The product is fitted with a flexible and skin-friendly hydrocolloid sticky layer for optimal adhesion and skin protection. ZenSetiv hydrocolloid paste and hydrocolloid strips can be used to fill skin irregularities. This creates an optimal seal for the wound, preventing leakage and unpleasant smells. ZenZipp All-In-One wound managers can stay in place for up to seven days. Thanks to the transparent window in the sturdy collection bag, the wound can be inspected properly at any time without interfering with the healing process. An easily opened and closed double zipper over the entire length of the bag allows quick and comfortable wound care. Finally, the taps allow effective draining. These taps allow problem-free connection with catheter bags, a vacuum pump or other collection bag. The advantages of ZenZipp All-In-One Wound Management System • Comfortable care The flexible wound managers are leak-free and can stay in place for up to seven days: Greater comfort for the patient and significant savings of both money and time. • Transparent access panel The large, transparent access panel with integrated double zipper allows full access to the wound for observation and treatment, without removal of the wound manager. • Optimal adhesion The soft, breathable hydrocolloid adhesive ensures optimal adhesion and flexibility, high comfort levels and prevents skin reactions. • Air cushion Through the integrated air vent it is possible to insert a large amount of air to prevent the film from touching the wound area. The wound healing process will therefore be unharmed and leads to an increase of comfort for the patient. • Drainage and collection capacity The integrated collection bag provides good draining and collection capacity, specially designed for high-output wounds. For example a wound with a fistula, heavily infected wounds and/or a wound in combination with a stoma. • Drainage Irrigation, drainage and catheterization are no problem thanks to the taps fitted to the bag. If a tap is not needed, it can be easily cut off: the integrated fold up closure provides a safe closure of the wound manager. It doesn’t matter how the wound manager is placed: horizontally or vertically the content of the wound manager can easily be drained through one of the three taps. There is always at least one that is facing down for comfortable draining.

Accessories ZenSetiv InnoPaste, the convenience of pressurised delivery Save your skin with Innopaste. The unique formula of Innopaste protects the skin against faeces and urine by creating a comfortable barrier for skin folds and blemishes around a stoma. The soft paste is very easy to apply with the new pressure-can-technology. Current paste products are often difficult to handle: emptying a tube can be a stressful action, especially when you want to empty it completely. InnoPaste is the solution.

Just gently press the dosing cap and easily apply enough paste wherever you want. It is no longer necessary to use excessive force to squeeze paste out of a tube. When you use InnoPaste, you immediately experience how accurately paste can be applied because of the long dosing cap. Just simply close the cap when you are done. During application, the paste is soft, compliant and can be molded in any way required. After a while the paste hardens just enough to create a durable protection against body enzymes due to a mild percentage of alcohol. On irritated skin just apply a little Zensetiv Protective Powder to prevent stinging and increase comfort for the ostomist. Complete can emptying is possible because of the constantly maintained pressure. InnoPaste can be used in all directions, also upside down.

ZenSetiv Half Moon Strips

The ZenSetiv absorbent sachets are the ideal solution for problems like: disturbing noises (sloshing) of stool, unpleasant odours or leakage through the filter. The absorbent sachets thickens the liquid stool within a few seconds.

The ZenSetiv half moon strips are an excellent solution to avoid curled edges of the skin wafer. They provide extra security and longer wear time. The half moon strips are easy to apply and available in hydrocolloid and micro porous plaster.

ZenSetiv Mouldable Hydrocolloid Rings

ZenSetiv Silicone Plasters

The ZenSetiv mouldable hydrocolloid rings are used to protect the skin around the stoma. The rings absorbs moisture and provides a secure fit. By covering the skin around the stoma with a mouldable ring, the skin is very well protected against aggressive output. Skin irritations that are caused by aggressive output are avoided. The skin protection rings are mouldable and can be adapted to different types and sizes of stomas.

The ZenSetiv Silicone Plasters are the ideal solution for ostomists who irrigate their stoma or those who have a continent ileostomy. The soft silicon layer sticks to the skin immediately and protects the stoma. The foam layer absorbs mild secretion of liquid stool. The ZenSetiv Silicone Plasters are very comfortable and painless to remove.
