*Subsequent year(s) worked at same job (if earnings in that job for year exceed $100) will result in the annual raise indicated above. The year listed is the year worked in same job, regardless of year in school or degree program. Not all jobs listed will have openings for 16-17. Hours worked must to be recorded into TimesheetX on a regular, semi monthly basis. Failure to submit timesheets by the due dates will result in late payment to you and/or removal from the WS program. Timely submission of hours worked is required to remain in the program. Students may not work more than 20 hours per any workweek (Monday – Sunday) for all jobs combined. Students may not work any shift that conflicts with the time of any enrolled class. See 16-17 Work Study Contract for more information and polices. http://www.cim.edu/assets/downloads/financialaid/workstudy_contract.pdf 16-17 WS funding is fully awarded. At this time, we can only add names to a wait list, but it is unlikely we will be able to add any more students to the program for the academic year. Work Study awards DO NOT auto-renew for subsequent years of enrollment. Eligibility is year-specific and also requires on-time aid renewal documents. Students may not accept any job shift to be scheduled prior to the date they have all required New Hire Forms on file with the CIM Payroll Office. This includes presenting the required ID in person to complete the forms.

16-17 Work Study Job Fair: August 30 from 11-1 in the CIM Pogue Lobby.

After initial job placements have been determined from the Job Fair, there will be a list of open jobs posted all year on the Financial Aid Bulletin Board across from the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office does not place students with jobs; students must be proactive to secure their own jobs within the Work Study Program.

Work Study Job Descriptions – Updated August, 2016 Admission Aide An important Admission Aide duty involves giving tours of the school. The tour guide is often the first point of contact for prospective students and is, therefore, critical to the success of student recruitment. Guides should be articulate, enthusiastic, and people-oriented as they encounter guests from all over the world. General office work requires a detail-oriented person who enjoys organizing and accomplishing large tasks. Processing mail and assisting with document processing also constitute important Admission Aide contributions. Confidentiality is a must. Supervisor: Jessica Pringle / Lynn Johnson

Audition Day Aide - Admission Audition Day work requires students with an enormous range of skills; greeting, giving tours, and test proctoring represent a few of the tasks. Audition Day Aides must be people-oriented and attentive to our auditionees and guests. Supervisor: Jessica Pringle / Lynn Johnson
