Nursing Registration Requirement in Denmark Bachelors Degree in Nursing A Minimum of 12 Months Experience as Registered Nurse Assessment: When the Danish Health and Medicines Authority has received all the required documentation, we will assess whether your education is essentially equivalent to the corresponding Danish education. Language test: If the education is considered equivalent to the Danish education, you have to pass a language test, Test in Danish Level 3. You do not have to take the test if you have passed the test 12 months prior to our approval of your education or if you have completed a Danish upper secondary education. Position for adaptation and training purposes: When the Danish Health and Medicines Authority has approved your basic education and you have passed the language test, you can take up a position for adaptation and training purposes for a period of six months. You need to find this position yourself. When you have completed your six months’ employment, your employer has to send a final evaluation to the Danish Health and Medicines Authority.
