Workshop fee: No fees will be applied. The Workshop arrangements comprise conference facilities, coffee breaks and social events. DWD canteen offers lunch at reasonable prices (menu 1/ 2 including a soup: 4,10/ 4,90 Euro).

Workshop Language: The workshop will be conducted in English. Simultaneous translation will not be available.

Workshop facilities/ Registration A Registration and Info Desk will be run during the Workshop offering phone, fax, eMail and copy devices. All participants must register for the Workshop (Monday, 25 October 8:30-9:00). Facilities in the lecture room comprise a PC/ video projector. Presenters are requested to announce additional audio-visual requirements in beforehand. All participants are requested to return the attached Registration Form (Annex-II) for official pre-registration!

Accompanying events An Icebreaker will be offered on Monday evening. On Tuesday evening a dinner will be organized in a nearby restaurant. Details will be announced in the meeting.

Financial support Limited funds are available to partly cover travel and accommodation costs (lump sum) for one participant from each of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Turkey and Ukraine. The list has been developed based on the GDP per capita1 with a bottom line of US$ 20.000. Potential applicants are requested to indicate officially on the Registration Form (Annex II) if financial support is needed. Support will be paid cash in Euro in the meeting.

Third Announcement A 3rd Announcement will be issued electronically to registered participants by end of September. It will provide latest specific information on the workshop as well as a template for the country presentations.
