WLI Dear Madam, Dear Sir, It is a real honour to invite you to the Universal Exhibition “Expo 2015” which will take place in Milan from May 1st, 2015 to October 31st, 2015. The Italian Committee of Women Leaders International has organized a visit to the Expo sites for the International Delegations of Women Leaders International and other eminent personalities who will accompany them on the following days : from Wednesday September 30th, 2015 to Saturday October 3rd, 2015. As Expo 2015 is expecting about 20 million visitors, reservations for accommodations, meals, conferences, gala ceremonies and many others … have to be fixed in advance. The number of places being limited, we kindly ask you to fill and return the registration form here attached before june 2014 in order to let us confirm the reservations. We cannot guarantee the availability beyond this date. We would be delighted to count you among the attendees for this two days Magnificent Events during which you will participate to conferences dealing the subject of “WATER AS LIFE SOURCE ", visit the Expo and two GALAS celebrating this exceptional venue. WLI WATER

• Water, whose chemical formula is H2O (two hydrogen molecules linked to a molecule of oxygen) is an element universally recognized as important by all peoples around the World.

• Etymologically, the name is derived from the Latin “aqua” and leads up to the “radice” (root)

• Water is one of the four primary elements, according to the cosmogonies suggested by some members of the ancient Greek philosophy. It was commonly associated with the quality of the emotion and intuition. Water was also assigned to the attributes of cold and wet counterbalancing with the dry and hot of the fire, was associated with the cardinal point West and the feminine aspect.

• In the collective imagination, water has been associated with various meanings and symbols: frequently done with the approach of the theme of eternal youth, of purification, of life and death.

• The alchemical symbol of water is an isosceles triangle upside down.

• Water to drink, water to cook, wash water, mineral water, thermal water, water for beauty, sparkling water, water bio-dynamic ........

Wednseday September 30th, 2015 Arrival of the International Delegations of Women Leaders International Welcome dinner

Thursday October 1st, 2015 All the day will be dedicated to visit the Expo sites. At first we will visit the Italian Pavillon, where the International Delegations of Women Leaders International will be received by Italian Authorities of Region Lombardia, of the National Parliament and Eurodeputies. Eminent personalities representing the countries of WLI will accompany their National Delegations The visit to Expo continues giving priority to the Pavillons of the countries from where the delegations of Women Leaders International participating to this exceptional event, come from. Dinner and exposition of italian typical products. Award ceremony of young artists of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera.

WLI Friday October 2nd, 2015 In the morning conference about the theme “Water in the Universe and Water on the Earth”with the participation of various speakers, who in two different sessions, will discuss about Water as basic element of our life. Members of the European Commission will expose the guiding lines of EU water policies either from a political than tecnical point of view. The following speakers will treat themes as Water and Energy in industrialized countries (Mr Dario Corrisio –Enel); the construction of wells in developing countries ( Mr Gelmi Butterfly Foundation); the presence of Water in the Universe and in the Stars (Mr Sandrelli of the Brera Astronomical Observatory)the importance of Water for our health and beauty with highlights on thermal Water (nutritionist Doctor Daniela Morandi); the hidden network of milanese canals: i Navigli explained by Mrs Alessandra Filippi President of the Association Hidden City….. Brunch and in the afternoon visit to the milanese cathedral, il Duomo, and other monuments. In the evening fashion show and Gala Dinner.

Saturday the 3rd October, 2015 Free morning to visit Milan or for shopping. You will get particolar Expo Shopping cards. In the afternoon departure for Rome.

NB. It is possible to organize economic and commercial meetings. If interested please ask your National President to inform us about your activity and the contact your looking for.

WLI COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS The participation fee to all the events of your visit to Expo from Wednesday September 30th, 2015 to Saturday October 3rd,2015 will be of € 550,00 per person. Hotel rates will not be included in the participation fee of the Expo event. The booking and payment of your accomodation (room and breakfast) will be handled by Women Leaders International Italy. We got special hotel rates in these two hotels: Hotel Galles and Hotel Mozart.

WLI REGISTRATION FORM The here attached registration form will be returned by e-mail after the communication to the Italian Commitee from the various National Presidents of the number of partecipants of their own country before june 30th, 2014. After this date no registration will be possible. The President of your country will send us your registration form and fee. You will have to pay the partecipation fee of €550,00 for march 30 th, 2015 . NB. You can cancel your participation before march 30 th, 2015. NB.
