Warranty Details The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar State and Territory laws. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Repair and Refurbished Goods or Parts Notice Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to be returned to the supplier for repair. Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such as files stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on a games console or files stored on a USB memory stick) during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost. We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair. You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process. Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specifications. WARNING: We recommend you check with your legal Authority for use of this product. GENERAL INFORMATION 4X4 Tough LED Light Bars are designed with off road use in mind. Each LED Light Bar is waterproof (IP67) and delivers an impressive amount of light output. A mixture of pencil and flood beam provides an impressive spread and distance of light. Modern motor vehicle’s are increasingly equipped with complex electronics and it is recommended the 4X4 Tough LED Light Bar is installed by a qualified automotive electrician to ensure they are installed without affecting the vehicle’s electrical system and in built computer system. A qualified automotive electrician is trained to ensure the installation will meet the ADR (Australian Design Rule) regulatory requirements. It is highly recommended to use a licensed auto electrician to install the HID Driving Lights and the accompanying wiring harness. The warranty on this product may be void in the event of incorrect installation using other than a licensed automotive electrician. This product is mainly for 4 x 4 use. The user guide is a part of the driving lights and should be stored in a dry convenient location in the event you need to refer back to information within this guide.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION The product you have purchased emits a strong light and could cause an oncoming vehicle to experience serious visual impairment if the light was illuminated and directed constantly into the path of another vehicle. For this reason the light you have purchased must be connected in a manner to ensure the remote control (acting as an independent switch) will only work when the main (high) beam lamps are in the “On” position. Remote Control Battery / Batteries • Keep devices with batteries out of reach if the battery compartments are not secure. • Always keep out of children’s reach by locking away loose or spare batteries. • If a child swallows a button battery go directly to the emergency room. Do not let the child eat or drink. Do not induce vomiting.

WARNINGS AND SAFEGUARDS •

Carefully read and understand all safety information, warnings and cautions relating to use and installation of the LED Light Bar.

•

Serious property damage and physical injury may result unless instructions are followed.

•

NEVER look directly into the LED Light Bar.

•

The location of the LED Light Bar mounting position must not affect normal operation of the vehicle.

•

IMPORTANT: The remote control supplied is not waterproof. ALWAYS store in a safe dry place.

•

NEVER connect the LED Light Bar to a 240V power supply.

•

DO NOT connect the LED Light Bar to a power source greater than 32V.

•

ALWAYS take care when handling electrical wiring, placing undue force on wiring / cables can result in damage internally and cause the wiring to fail.

SET-UP AND ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION It is recommended to use a licensed automotive electrician if you are not familiar with automotive electrical wiring. If you choose to conduct the installation of the LED Light Bar please pay close attention to the installation instructions.

INSTALLATION LED Light Bar Fitment •

Select your preferred installation point on the vehicle.

•

Check for Air Bag Sensor location points in your vehicle’s owner manual before installing the LED Light Bar, NEVER DRILL HOLES AT THESE LOCATIONS.

•

ENSURE positioning is at the front of the vehicle and fitted in such a way that the light emitted does not cause discomfort to the driver either directly or indirectly through the rear-view mirrors and/or other reflecting surfaces of the vehicle.

•

It is recommended to follow State regulations before fitting and using additional driving lamps such as LED Light Bar to your vehicle; regulations may vary from State to State.

•

Fitment of accessory lighting must not conceal any of the original equipment lights on the vehicle.

•

Additional lamps including LED Light Bars and HID driving lights should as far as possible be installed symmetrically in pairs to the front of the vehicle. If not fitting as pairs (eg. one, three etc), they must be fitted to the front of the vehicle symmetrically towards the centre.

•

Additional lamps including LED light bars and HID driving lights must be securely fitted to minimise the likely hood of injury to a person making contact with the vehicle.

•

It is important the installation location does not obstruct the drivers view of the road and or traffic.

•

Additional lamps including LED light bars and HID driving lights MUST ONLY be able to be illuminated when the main-beam head lamps (High Beam) switch is in the “lamps on” position.

•

A maximum of four driving lamps including LED light bars and HID Driving lights can be fitted to a vehicle in addition to the vehicles main beam headlamps.

Wiring Installation – “Plug and Play” The wiring harness supplied comes complete with the most common wiring connectors. In the event the connectors are not compatible with your vehicle’s connectors, we recommend going to an automotive electrician.

1. Check your vehicle’s owner manual for information regarding installation and use of auxiliary lights. 2. If battery disconnection is required for the installation of the wiring harness ALWAYS check the vehicle’s owner manual recommendations BEFORE disconnecting the vehicle’s battery. Disconnecting the battery may affect vehicle computer systems. 3. Layout the wiring harness and familiarise yourself with the wiring diagram on the proceeding page. There are two piggyback connectors (H3) and (H4) supplied with the wiring kit, these are the two most common connector assemblies and it is likely either H3 or H4 will be compatible. 4. Remove the high beam connection from the car headlight on one side only and check the type of connector compatibility with either the H3 or H4 piggyback adaptors. 5. Connect the compatible piggyback adaptor plug to the vehicle’s existing high beam plug (B) - (just removed). Plug the compatible socket (B1) - (now from the piggy back adaptor assembly), then plug (B2) into the high beam head lamp socket. 6. Locate the inline fuse (D) situated between the positive + (red wire) and the remote control receiver box (C) and remove the fuse. 7. Identify connector (E) on the wiring harness and run the wiring along a suitable path avoiding any moving parts and hot surfaces to connect with the plug on the LED Light Bar. 8. Securely affix the remote control receiver box (C) near the firewall ensuring it kept a minimum of 30cm away from the engine. 9. Identify plug (B) and (E) of the piggyback adaptor and connect together. 10. Connect the positive (+) red wire and negative (–) black wire to the battery terminals (F). 11. Install the fuse (D) again. •

The remote control supplied (H) allows you to activate or deactivate the LED Light Bar. When the remotes ON function is selected the LED Light Bar will come on ONLY when you switch your high beam lights on to “lamps on”. Similarly if you select the OFF function when the high beam lights are switched on the LED Light Bar will not illuminate.

The LED Light Bar MUST ONLY illuminate when the main-beam head lamps switch is in the “lamps on” position.

•

It is IMPORTANT that the installation of wiring, cables and components do not come into contact with hot engine surfaces and or any moving parts.

CLEANING Clean by using gentle pressure of water and a mild detergent applied with a soft nonabrasive sponge or cloth.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING Regularly inspect condition of wiring and the connectors are securely joined. Keep battery terminals clean and free from corrosion. Remote Control •

Remove back panel and screw with Phillipshead screwdriver to access battery compartment when replacing old battery.
